Guy alway used to say ''wait for the beat'' especially when playing Gerri Diamond - Only You. However Keb did start saying it, the first time I heard him say it was when introducing Patti Livingston - I've Got My Baby "I believe the expresion is 'wait for the beat' "I'm sure the expressions is 'wait for the beat' Turns to look over at Guy, "Indeed, the gentleman's just comfirmed it" Vocal kicks in on perfect time Priceless!- Going Big.....what Will Be Next?

- The Supremes
They should have stayed as the Primettes as they all got a chance on lead vocal; DR's voice is too nasal fro my liking. Their best recording is Love Is Like An Itching', one of the best songs ever written, but should have been given to someone else. However, turn it over and you'll find their best record 'He's All I Got' fooking fantastic. Thier version of the Bea's 'Dr Goldfoot & The Bikini Machine' is OK, for the film of same title. Must admit I do like 'When The Lovelight Starts Shining'. Plus their versions of 'Shake ME, Wake Me' & 'Just A Little Misunderstanding.- Its The Same Old Song
There's a version by the Motions which is a most suitable name as it's really s**t!! I'll dig out a sound file to put the dampners on your weekend- Fave British Northern Tunes
