  6. another one you don´t realise how good it is until you hear it loud out at a venue. you are a bit spoiled with that feeling over there but for a oversas feeling still is abs massive. that intro just keeps crawling up your back and wants you out on the floor. Wouldn´t mind a copy myself. seen some recently on ebay for around 60-80 I think. was this ever booted btw ??
  7. Of some reason Benny Hill always got the best saxplayers
  8. Didn´t liked Eric Lomax - 7 the loser before myself either btw. Sounds great now !
  9. Changed my mind many times during my short career. Most often due to that it had sounded so much better out than at home. Last mindchanger for me that comes to mind is Rokk - Patience. Hated it first but then started to love after a while.
  10. Guitarplayer in William Cummings - Make my love a hurting thing is abs ace some guitarperformings I like Charles Mintz - Running back Pearls - shooting high Pat & the blenders- perfect solo ao and one accoustic for Summer bbq´s Agents - Troubles

  12. Have a very shameless egotrippingtheory that Butch reactivated Johnny Howard after he heard me play it in my set at OTRSSC October in Gothenburg 2004 (and Halle Berry was in my bed last night as well I promise)

Apparently seems unknown to most here ..... C´mon I know many of you danced 1000 of times to this. Seen it have gone on ebay on French Ep for about 80quid or so. How did otherwise got released ? Just stucked in my head lately and had overlooked a bit before. Is it an old Mod track or so ?? All help much appreciated
  14. Can´t rememeber which Cd its on but its a version of Ojays - Don´t you know a true love or if its the other way around. The version with that horrible opera lady destroying an otherwise quiet good track
  15. Guitarist on Damon Fox - packing up !
  16. Of them I´ve been to def Kings Hall Stoke. Long time I´ve been but wasn´t floor at Trentham Gardens very nice as well ? (huge!) Of the smaller ones i remember I liked the one at Viaduct ( a while I was there too hope it goes well for Dean :0) )

Hi again, VIP´s - Straight down to the bottom sounded so good to hear out the weekend that went (don´t rememerb who or where it got played though..) . It reminded me again what a fantastic big differnce to hear a record out compare to home. What is an approx current value for a copy of that ??
  18. It hasn't really made it on the dancefloors to date. One for listening then methinks... I tried it at Soul Essence a few years back and it nearly cleared the floor Good record though.
  19. Hi Tabitha, It is sampled. I brought it up on the Rare Soul forum quiet long time ago. Couldn´t find it now so forgot their name sadly . Some Uk group that used this as a sample. Go Team or something I think they were called...

OK thanks for info. Heard the name many times but never met the guy. Reason asking is that northern collectors aren´t that many here so was just surprised record came from this country . As Sebastian says , thats part of the game so no reason feeling guilty Mark. This was hardly played that much 4 year ago or so was it? prices changes quick in this business and not always easy to follow for either sellers or buyers (read Pat & the Blenders why didn´t I know that a few years ago )

Yeh the flip is called 'Ghettoville' a much more crunching uptempo proper R'n'B kind of track. Regards - Mark Bicknell. * thanks for info. would love to hear it Then if that's the case it's a pressing. * Good I missed it then orig wasn´t that on Manship auction quiet some time ago ?? what did that ended at ?? One of my abs. fav northern intros it is 2001 as well

It is a very hard original to locate and £500.00 i guess is a good ballpark start figure to work off, now either someone has a bargain here or the prices have finally dropped through the floor or is this a bootleg? * think people missed it me. this must still be very indemand or ? originals green with blue script and the bootleg is green with black script, from what i understand pressings of this fantastic double header are not that common and it would not suprise me that someone would be prepared to pay £107.00 for one. * Never heard the other side ?? Anyone has a soundfile pls ??

Seems like many must have missed this one incl myself (have bought too much lately anyway but...).. only 5 dif bidders 107 for an EX ( from Joe Dunlop isn´t it ? ) must be a real bargain . Fantastic track !
