  1. Bazza, I first asked about if you owned the records or not, that was just me being nosey. Anyway I believe you chose records that you like and that you think would go down well at venues that you have attended. The problem is that it wouldn't matter what records you'd chosen you still wouldn't please everyone. I'll tell you something though, that DJing lark isn't as easy as you think. I've had a couple of stabs at it at my own do, and to be honest I wish I had more records to choose from than what I do.
  2. Bazza, I think that playlist is acceptable, but are they records you actually own?
  3. Is this Pauline's brother or husband?

My Postie brought me Leevert Allison - I Want To Give My Heart To You - Poncello, yesterday whilst I was at work. Unfortunately the bleeding dog got to it before my wife and decided to have it for breakfast!
  7. I was getting worried that you weren't returning, when I couldn't get on this morning as well as last night. But now you are back everything's fine.

  11. I think some of these travelling type people have a nerve when they just pitch up by the roadside. Then they leave their mess for others to clear up after wards. And i bet there pick up vans have no mot & insurance.

The Artistics version was released in 1966, hope this helps.

Sorry this isn't much help, but I dunno anything about The Imperials version. I do know that Manship has The Artistics version on Brunswick for £20, although it may still be even cheaper on Ebay.
  15. I had this once before, cleared up after a course of penicillin....... ......sorry misread it.
  16. However the feeling of euphoria is only short-lived, before long the record is lost in the murky depths of ye olde record box (or ikea shelving ). And the strange yearning feeling returns and washes over oneself, as you move onto the next one down on the wants lists.
  17. It's Okeh by me!
  18. As mentioned previously Herbert Hunter is a definate contender, failing that one of these two. Billy Butler - The Right Track or Frank Beverly & The Butlers - If That's What You Wanted
  19. If you're refering to the Solid Bond video, think you'll find it was filmed at Woking Football Club.
  20. What about Goldmine Sevens?
  21. Rather than be educated listening to shite like these, can I remain dumb and stupid. :fool: Please no more!
  22. Yes it has but sometime ago now. Are there any videos/films that feature dancers that don't have Mr Cato in?
  23. I bet when Harry J & The Allstars recorded Liquidator they all sat around and said "This will be big at football grounds all over the UK!"
