3 tunes I've not heard before!?

I believe I may have been responsible for this confusion. At about the same time as Mark started this thread, I started another asking for recommendations for records under £25. When I saw Marks thread and saw the comments he'd made about each record, it was then I said about this was just what I was looking for and then I asked him for values. This thread is about sitting down at home and just playing through your collection and maybe just re-appraising records you may not have played in quite a while (or indeed just forgot you had) IMO. Although I prefer this side, the flipside "If A Woman Catches A Fool" isn't too bad either!

This is the sort of topic I like, where as someone of my very limited (soul!) knowledge can learn a thing or two. The only thing which would be better would actually be sitting round Marks house whilst he's playing them! There's nothing like having the house to yourself and playing through your record box. The only problem I have is, the next door neighbour complains about the noise! :angry: Mind you, being on the committee (Social Secretary ) down my club, I could set up the turntables whenever I want and play them down there! It's great absolutely no pressure, because they haven't got a clue what I'm playing!

Snap! Just substitute daughter for 1 son & 2 daughters Plus one neighbour who has threatened to report me to the council for playing records loudly at 11 o'clock in the morning before!

1. No, not really. If they're open with what they play it shouldn't really matter. 2. Fair enough, we all get on with one another, just don't always agree on the same things. 3. Obviously their clientele don't mind the format, so obviously the promoter is giving them what they want.

Taylormade, if the DJ had no qualms in admitting to playing a non-original, why don't you tell us what the venue was? Personally, I just get fed up with all the hinting at stuff on here. So & So did this, played that, just drives me nuts!
