  1. I'll support you Jamie, please give me more details on the Jacks hall, Dates D.J line up ETC. I love it when threads develop like this.........
  2. IMO can't see a problem, always find it interesting what price stuff is going for on ebay, often makes me laugh, brightens up the day. If we start putting restrictions up for one thing, then people will start asking for restrictions on another. Keep the site open, free of restrictions, otherwise members will soon lose interest. JM

Noted recently "Henry " posted on this site, I thought from the broken english that this was the same guy. He obviously doesn't give up, keeps rebirthing himself. I just avoid Belgium full stop !. Unfortunatly, there are honest dealers over there who must be suffering due to this guy. Maybe they might decide to take action against him. JM

Thanks for that chalky, if I spot one at reasonable price, might consider it. Who know's might start up a Prix collection.

Just as a quick spin off from this one, I've seen a number of other tracks recently on Prix, but the records are unfamiliar to me. Does anyone know if there are any other good tracks on the label. JM

A bit of boot polish sometimes does the trick, followed by a vigorous rub with a lint free cloth, brings em up a treat, can almost see your face in them. I also have a 1 micron polishing cloth, which removes fine surface scratches a treat..

Think £25 sounds about right, got one somewhere, might sell mine.

Still a class record no matter how many copies have turned up, wouldn't sell mine for less than £500 !!!!!!!!. pure class. JM

Actually come to think of it it is quiet fun clapping at the wrong place in a song, cause when you clap other people copy, it's even funnier if you clap extremely vigorously to a slow track, or even carry on dancing in between tracks :good:

Don't like to clap, too conformist, too much like sheep mentality..... Come on then slag me off

Don't get me started on this one, I've waged a one man hate campaign against this record ever since it became popular, bloody awfull IMO, However, like mr.Abbott I can see it's dancefloor appeal, I think that is a form of politeness.......... Saw Mick Smith getting all excited beind the decks when playing this at Half time Orange last week........Bless. Jm

Recently got one myself, £20, however seen them for £35 also !, also ebay for as little as $6.00, happy hunting...........great record ! JM
  17. I did at one time collect kent and Charly L.P's, Charly's Rare Soul Uncovered vol.3 is superb and i do spin it alot at home, a great track on the L.p is Roscoe Shelton...... you're the dream, which is an unreleased ss7 track. Fav' Kent L.P is Kent Stax, loads of great Southern stax/volt stuff, even has Margie Joseph " one more chance " on it, plus a nice smooth mid tempo track by Jimmy Hughes..It's all up to you...........Mmmm nice ! Fav C.D......Urrr..... Dave Godin's Deep soul treasures.....oh yes ! JM
  18. A very good track, a bit suprised at the £170 price tag, I would have said £25 also, don't think I'd like to pay more than that. I think it's one of those records that once you get one you'll get bored with it quickly. Also is there another version of it ........Female I think, maybe Aretha.
  19. Alternative way to do it is to buy a car with any old number plate then change your name to suit, my last name is now HPK. JM
  20. I hear King Kong is joining next week, said he's gonna come and whip your ass..........
