Just seen an advert for a programme about wife swapping and they were playing "Thanks For A Little Lovin" as the theme!!! Popcorn, oohhhh your talkin my language now! Popcorn is similar to Northern in as much as it's a contrived genre, the records existed largely before the name Popcorn was associated with it. Generally this style is a big mix up between soul, early rock n roll, teenbeat and rockabilly. Most records generally consist of a big beat, cheesy lyrics and either a big baritone voice or a very country and western type vocal. Some of their "oldies" are listed as: * Douglas Banks - Aint That Just Like A Woman * Ralph Graham - She Just Sits There etc etc..... And I love it! Hope this helps Jodie x

Calvin Grayson - 'You've got to be willing' on In Records, have been after one for years! Fantastic double sider! Unfortunately for you, this is at the top of most wants lists at the moment! I was really lucky and got mine for £450 a few months ago. Makes a nice change for someone else to list it for this side, everyone else seems to prefer Love's Just Begun.
