I missed the show but am reliably informed by mates that it was excellent. Maybe one group for Prestatyn some day. Who knows.........? Col.

    Who is Lew Stanley? Col.
  6. On second thoughts, not 2 of the most cheerful records I could have posted. But, they will take your mind off things. Col.
  7. Evening Dan, Don't know if these 2 fit in your category of being cheap. But on an awful day they may help to brighten things up a bit. Col.

Less excuses, more results please. "malleable"......what sort of word is that? Have you swallowed a dictionary, or are you just making words up now? Col. ps Save up all the fees from your DJ spots, go buy yourself an I-pod then you won't need cds.
  9. Cheers for that Col. Is it well known? Did it get played out much?

Hey Hurley, 2 records in 6 years..........I'm going to mark your card......... "could try harder" Col.
  11. You 2 seem to be getting on very well, how does one get into your parallel universe? Col.
  12. Is your local called the 1970s? Col.
  13. Stop having a go at Pete, he knows more about Shirley Temple records that the lot of you combined. Col.
  14. I like the record on a personal level. But I just can't see it going down around here in either the modern or 60s room. Col.
  15. Whilst I'm at it, this also turned up. Don't generally like RnB, but this track just flows. Col.
  16. Only lasts 10 secs, so you only get the intro. Did something go wrong with the upload?
  17. The London - Brighton bike ride went really well on the hottest day of the year! There were 6 of us in the end (all soulies) & we raised a tidy sum for the British Heart Foundation. Can confirm that Rob Messer was the joker in the pack! Col Apologies for going off topic.
  18. Good to hear a few positive comments on Al Green. Regret, I don't know anything about the record. A mate dropped a cd round at the week-end. Just love it. Col.
  19. That was hard work! Another tune that turned up at the week-end. See what you think of Track 2 just above Billy's post. Lyrics were obviously intended for a much simpler time. Sn*****, sn*****. Col.
  20. Now attempting to upload from a different machine. Col.
  21. Reminds me why I got into northern soul - to get away from stuff like this Would be better speeded up Col.
  22. I'm not sure why the upload didn't work. Trying again Col. Nope not happening
  23. 63 downloads of the Al Green track and not one positive comment. Are you lot suffering from either collective amnesia, RSI or plain old wax between the ears? Nobody has been able to post an mp3 of Dobie Grey track, is it unknown up north? Bit late for sound of the weekend, but here's what I've been playing out today. Col.
  24. Post deleted.
  25. Your advice is good, your timing is rubbish. Having kids at 21 sorted out my hair styling options. Back to biz............Ain't Got Nobody has got a brilliant intro. So it could have been that. Col.
