My copy is in beautiful condition so if anyones interested pm me with your offer and the best offer above minimum bid of £50 by 9pm Wednesday 5th March 2008 gets it, I will do my best to reply to all pm's to let you know where the bidding is at. Lord Thunder - Chaos
Definately exists as an issued record, I have had my copy for over 30 years now, infact I probably played it well before Guy, featured at all my sets in Stockport circa 1977 onwards but credit were credits due and that is Guy made the record as big and popular as it is. I am seriously thinking of selling my absolutely mint copy so if anyones interested pm me with your offer and the best offer above minimum bid of £50 by 9pm Wednesday 5th March 2008 gets it, I will reply to all pm's to let you know where the bidding is at. The other thing is that I wish to respect the fact that Guy, as far as I know still has it covered up, so unfortunately I will not be naming the artist , title or label. Karen Striblin - We´re Not Too Young - Jaber
Not quite true Marc I bought one of them, great tune and they are unplayed stock copies and I got my copy for a touch less but I think they are worth the $395, the only thing is I don't know how many he has but the copies he has he got direct from the studio. Regards Alan

Diana Ross
Diana did a wonderful version of "These things will keep me loving you" on her 1st album, worth the price of the lp alone. Regards Alan

Your Favourite Dee-jays
I used to run a venue in Stockport called Great Moor Conservative Club and my co-promoter and very good friend a guy called Steve Foran who originally came from the Bedford area suggested we get Hammy up to play a set at our venue and he came and played an awesome set and we have remained good friends since then but I have recently lost touch as I have moved, I last saw him was at Prestatyna couple of years back. Regards Alan

Your Favourite Dee-jays
I would like to nominate:- Terry Jones - for his selection of awesome soul records and his stage presence, simply magic. Andy Rix - for his un-issued finds and top quality rarities. John Philips - one of the scenes great characters and an awesome collection, not afraid of playing unknowns or little knowns and again great stage presence. Barry Tasker - The first DJ I listened to at a Northern Soul Venue at The Pendulum in Manchester, I always admired his style of DJ'ing and he introduced me to so many great records. Flanny - (all the Orwell guys but I have to choose one) Again a great presence behind the decks and he continues to put together great sets. Regards Alan

Exus Trek - Hib Issue
This is probably the most common topic on Soul Source and probably gets covered about 4 times a year so there is plenty of information already existing on this site if you do a search, however there is no harm in covering it again as the status of such a great instrumental definately warrants it. Has Roger has already pointed out a few of the variants out there. I have the one which Roger highlights as the rarest which is the Orange HIB issue which at the moment is the only known copy, I have posted up scans of this issue before and I will post them up again if I can get my scanner to work. It is quite different to the Orange re-issue. Regards Alan

Cd Swap November 2007
Hi Chris, Perhaps I got a bit carried away, I read more into Mike's email that I should have. Anyway the quality of this batch of swaps is equal if not better than any previous swaps the only trouble is just as I think I have my wants list down a decent number it grows again. Happy New Year to you as well Chris and indeed all other sourcers. Regards Alan

Eddie Parker- Love You Baby French Googa Mooga Release
Hi John, The information I have on it is as I have previously mentioned re the ARCHER stamp in the dead wax on the "I have faith in you" side, apparently this is not present on some copies, now whether this means it's a bootleg ???? I don't know, I suspect not as I'm sure you would have spotted that before now, I wasn't aware of Martin Koppel's find, how many did he turn up ? The guy who told me about the "Bari Track" boot sometimes comes on Soul Source or members of his family do, so if anyone can get a message to Martin "Mr Click" Alsop and ask him to get in touch either through the site or personally and hopefully we will get to the bottom of this as I think he has a copy which he thinks is a boot. Regards Alan

One For You Motown Guys
Hi Harry, Like Steve correctly says "For the love of Mike" is by Patrice Holloway and "Sweet thing" The Funk Brothers. Nice tape that one if I remember correctly, I purchased quite alot of these acetates off Pete Lowrie, quite a nice pick up as they are steeped in history and every time I look at them and play them it transports me to the Hitsvillle Studios.
