  1. Keith. It says email but not PM mate. Could that be the reason why no reply maybe? Tough on WDJ this one and lovely flip too. Cheers Richsrd
  2. Brilliant - thanks Robb - clearly I have not been on the ball enough Cheers Richard
  3. Hi everyone I.P.G records. Always wondered about that one. Never really looked into it. Where is it from please? I know the Velvelettes are on the label and people say it is Detroit but I'm not too sure about that. Would be interested to find out. Cheers Richard
  4. On the SoundCloud copyright thing I just got this message today removing a track I had posted up there months ago. Can anyone explain how that might have happened please? Cheers Richard Hi Premium Stuff, Our automatic content protection system has detected that your upload "Edwin Starr - I Have Faith In You (Ric-Tic 109 B)" may contain content that is copyrighted. As a result, we have paused the upload of your audio for the time being. 5. What's the track listing on the Detroit one anyone please? Have a few of these from when they came out, but missed the Detroit one Cheers Richard
  6. The Jamo Thomas version was one of the first records I ever heard (apart from the usual Motown, Atlantic etc) that got me hooked onto 'Northern'. I never tire of hearing it today and can still play it more than once in a row Cheers Richard
  7. Thanks Bob - all makes sense now. I just noticed the title on the issue is I Spy (For The FBI) but on the demo it is (I Spy) For The FBI Cheers Richard
  8. Fabulous version of 'I Spy For The FBI' on Smash. Maybe Detroit recorded, maybe New York recorded - but sure sounds like perfect Detroit to me - and top credits too. But who were the G-Men???? Cheers Richard
  9. Thanks Ricky. Still looking for info folks please. Apart from the obvious, the connection between the two releases is Devotion Music Cheers Richard
  10. Manship's auction price was £233 if I recall correctly mate.
  11. Also wondered the same Robb - would be good to establish this Cheers Richard
  12. Thanks for the info guys - much appreciated Cheers Richard
  13. Can anyone please tell me anything about the Tokays on Brute - group history, line-up etc. Also - what were the various pseudonyms Tony Clarke used to write under - damned if I can remember? Cheers Richard
  14. 'Things are looking up' is the better side I reckon - and the most 'northern'. Cheers Richard
  15. The incidence of "now sold" seems to be on the up again, so hopefully this will help a bit. More annoying - if like me you are looking for records to buy - is "PM'd you". Come on guys, if you PM'd the seller they will know - as they will have received a PM !! The "PM'd you" post seems totally pointless. Maybe someone who does this could just please explain what it is meant to achieve? I still think sales threads should be automatically locked (or locked by the mods). This bumping, whether intentional or accidental, just wastes time for people looking for sales, especially if using mobile. Cheers Richard
  16. Wheelsville or Rojac isn't it - which one? Cheers Richard
  17. Hi everyone Hope someone can help out. Looking for a top condition (near mint) copy of the Volumes - I Just Can't Help Myself (American Arts #18) on a black demo. If you can help please just PM me. Cheers Richard
  18. Condition? Cheers Richard
  19. Should be in ebay sales and website links too huh?
  20. Manship's auctioned one recently. Was not that much. Cheers Richard
  21. Just fabulous Andy - looking forward to the next installment Cheers Richard
  22. It's helpful to buyers to put the title in the main heading of the post Think that is in SS guidelines too Cheers Richard
  23. Fascinating stuff Mick - will have to give it a listen - very strange Cheers Richard
  24. Just keep trying Joan - I got on OK after a false start Cheers Richard
