  1. Hi everyone Are the Ric-Tic, Correc-tone and Sonbert releases of Gino's 'Puppet On A String' different versions or mixes please? If someone could post up legit soundfiles that would be great please - I don't trust You Tube I'm afraid for this kind of thing Cheers Richard
  2. Hi Col Yes, have seen both on WDJ - looking for both of those too Also seen at least one of their other releases on WDJ - can't remember the title without checking - maybe 'Do What You want To Do' or more likely 'Don't Let True Love Die'. Cheers Richard

  13. Thanks for the info Just checked the old Manship's Bootleg Guide and it too says 70s reissues, with the instrumentals on the flips - there were three - Jackie Day, Mary Love and Vernon Garrett. Also says, quite rare and sought after. There you go - always thought they were boots Cheers Richard

  16. Hi everyone I have seen a couple of blue (turquoise) coloured labelled 45s on the Modern label priced at around 40 or 50 quid lately. Jackie Day - Before It's Too Late and Vernon Garrett - If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time are two of them. I thought these blue labelled releases were bootlegs and the originals were on red labels? Can anyone confirm please? Cheers Richard
  17. Hi Kegsy This could work well as a poll - what do you think? Cheers Richard
  18. I recall there being a scan on Popsike of Pete's (Detroit non-Rosette) copy as I'm sure I had seen it before on an auction - just had a quick look and can't spot it though Here's my West Coast with bag Cheers Richard

  20. I started a thread about the magic city release a while ago after the record went through ebay. Just do a quick search. Tony Hestor on Giant is fairly well known to be honest, but hard to locate these days. Cheers Richard
  21. If it's Pameline best to have it on the rarer pink issue - although I think it is actually the second release with a later serial number (yellow #100 and pink #200 off the top of my head). Cheers Richard
