If its a low value record it does not bother me to much if people add the charge, but impacts the overall cost as the 45 price increases. Quite often (when I have the money available in my bank account anyway!!)I will try and send a bill payment straight to the sellers bank account. As most banks now process faster payments it should show in their account within 2 hours (from November it will have to show in the recipients account and be available funds in this time, due to new legislation). No charges incurred then. Regarding Paypal as a gift I thought it just meant the sender paid the charges? Mike

On ebay I won a copy of Ernie Fields on London about 2 weeks ago for £6.05 inc p&p - may have been lucky, but thought it went for around £15 Mike

I never knew it was on 45 till a few months back when a copy appeared on ebay. I think it went for about £120, and not seen any others pop up. US Regina copies of the LP crop on GEMM for around £25. However, be aware it sound rubbish when played out on a big (albeit crapy)system. I dont think it was mixed to well, O.K for home recording though. Is the Stateside issue better mixed?

Could it be caught up in the backlog caused by the postal strikes earlier in the month? Mike

I have 'Sometimes the truth sounds better than a Lie' on Cle An Thair which is a nice mid-tempo funky number, and another is in the guide 'Dead in the middle' - any good? Does any one have any bio details about Jimmy or the Cle An Thair label. Have a few other 45's on the label. Mike

Agreed - lol - Exactly my situation. My partner & I have only lived together about 5 months and have a 2 month baby. She rumbled me about 2 nights ago as I stupidly left my ebay page up while giving a feed. Whats this $90? four items to leave feedback on? You told me they are only a few pounds each. Compounded with her being at home during the day and having to answer the door daily to packages gives the addiction away. She likes some but is not a regular music listener anyhow. I have tried to instil my knowledge to her (bore her), but I get the feeling it goes in one ear & out the other
