  2. Maybe rename it "Ramblings" or as Paul Phillips has got that one "Pontifications"?
  3. If you PM me on the Sunday at Cleethorpes it just ain't gonna happen! Replied now though. Cheers Ady
  4. I'm so dozy, yes that's the one, thanks hugely. If Greg knows of any Dave Hamilton Gospel not on there I'd love to hear about them. Cheers Ady
  5. I've been on it this morning and just had a message from them saying I can't have any other queries today unless I cough up approx $18 for 6 months. Anyone else had this? Ady
  6. I remember this thread when it was one post old! What's it going on about now?
  7. Impulsive that's me and not scared of splashing out big on a top sound. It was more than a tenner!
  8. Thanks Steve, someone else has PMed me they're checking too so I'll have the first one that is defo. Cheers Ady
  9. I'd love to buy an excellent copy please
  10. One for the southern soul fanciers
  11. Possibly yours don't Bob but there are certainly copies on both labels saying featuring Terry Crispino.
  12. Whoops, sorry it was North Bay and as its her backed by a choir I'd be pretty sure its the same lass. The B B is more doubtful as the titles are Deck Of Cards and Blues For A Soldier but I can't see a Philly label putting out a record by a different Louis Williams when she was such a well known radio name back then.
  13. Actually Bob my Wand one does as does the Curtom copy on here. Ady
  14. Found it, it looks very interesting and super-rare!
  15. There was I thinking he was a lass, thanks Steve, what's the LP on? The listing for the 45 has no matrix number so maybe just another scheduled release that didn't happen.
  16. Hi Bob, I've just seen there's a Terri Crispino 45 listed on Wand 11240 too.
  17. Are all the Curtom copies demos?
  18. She had a release on B B in 1966 and Phil L A of Soul in 1972 too Steve
  19. I actually emailed her through the House Of Representatives but ain't heard back. Possibly as a high profile religious minister and politician she doesn't want to be reminded of her time as Lois Lane!
  20. Yes we've actually got the two recordings from multi tracks but there's never been a matrix number added to the listing so I think it's one of the 45s like Judy Clay I Want You or Bettye Lavette Happiness that never happened.
  21. Great, thanks John and we can now add that she is Philly singer Louise Williams, Jimmy Bishop's wife at the time of the recordings (and possibly later too).
  22. There's a good R&B/early soul 45 on Wand but also these other two listed that I've never seen. Any help appreciated. Ady
  23. Thanks folks, I think the consensus is early 80s for serious spins. Feel free to enlighten further. Ady
  24. I'm guessing Stafford era though I'm sure it had been spun out before but not that popular until the mid 80s?
