    Love this
  2. Pete Thorpe lives in Gloucestershire now somewhere near Stroud, was a regular at soul essence Yarmouth but didn't see him this year.
  3. Romanoffs was originally Rotters or vice versa, when Rotters closed the people who opened it and renamed it were a bit stuck as the whole place was carpeted and the design in the carpet was a large R so they had to stick with a name beginning with R bit of useless info, Siz was resident dj for quite a while also wher they used to record hit man and her.
  4. I lived old Trafford and used to go to the village/hard rock Andy Peebles was the resident dj, did you live firswood or stretford/ gorse hill
  5. just played it and i thought so to pete

Yes made me laugh because when we got back to Manchester Victoria there was an Italian cafe outside we used to all go in as the first Sunday buses weren't till 11.30 ish in the morning. The lads who had all had gear would sit with a coffee putting in sugar after sugar , whilst me and my brother would have a tea with some toast all the lads would moan at us for eating in front of them. You had to be there to appreciate the funny side.

I didn't bite on that post but like you never took gear because I didn't want to not couldn't afford it, also when I got back home about 12.00 am full breakfast and off to bed. Something you gear heads couldn't do lol

Well put I went to Wigan from 1974 prettoften not every week also to the oldies all nighters as my mate loved them.I was more of a Blackpool Mecca boy, stopped doing soul nights and nighters in 1979/80. And started again in 1996, I have always felt I missed out on a lot. As the tunes played at all the later venues are what I wanted to hear not the same old stuff from my years. I have to say though I preferred cleethorpes to Wigan.
  9. Missed it but that still makes only 2 copies. Lol
  10. sold mine last year i think about £150.00 used to be a big play for me at the Greatstone (when i was told to play more sixties stuff )
  11. what about - shes fire, thought there was only one known copy

I said £50.00 because in demand stuff even boots go for silly prices. I think £10.00 for a boot is still over the top but that's just my opinion.

  15. Wasn't many think nev had 2 or 3 that's where mine came from, I know bob Cosby has one think Keith money may have one, and Paul still has his, also Brett and mick and mo. Not sure maybe Dave Ripolles. So not many copies nev will confirm this but think they came from the producer.
  16. Lol ipad text for you well he is a plasterer
  17. Sold mine this year for more than £500.00 don't think this will ever turn up in volume, Paul Havekin still has his copy, think muck and mo have one also, used to get plenty of plays at the Greatstone.
