    Some nice restaurants in copenhagen but it is an expensive city but you will know that if you have been before, dont forget to take her to the tivoli gardens have a good time and wrap up well we went in august 2 or 3 years ago and it was pretty cold then. mark
  5. i only normally bother with stuff i do not know or know it form cd's or from people i know play lists that way i get some good bargains, leave the the big money stuff to people with fuller wallets than me. i do have the occasional punt but 99% of the time get beat to them. have won some great stuff because they are ignored the the big tune hunters. thats the way i like it. mark

  7. he does tinker but it tends to be mainlly with the speed up and down if you watch he actually dances with his hands looks like he is altering the controls but he barely touches them. mark

Not had too much lately but got black and white demo of rita da cost last month for £60.00 to be honest i usually do well on ebay as i dont go for the usual stuff but just had a punt on it suprised me. on the other side there was a test pressing of Friday Saturday Sunday on dig which is not a dear record and i put a large bid on it and that went for $243.00. mark

  14. no the nearest things are Bury anniversary all nighter something on in manchester see events and something in ashton under lynne again see events. the greatstone is on Saturday night (stretford if you are staying over. the orange tree pub on old market square isd a reall ale pub. and there are a few good restaurants, but no altrincham is a soul dessert mark

    the 7 is quite hard the 12 is easier to find and a bit cheaper, but think they may be the same length timewise anyway. but not sure of price. you buying or selling i have the 12" that i may let go . mark
  16. these were the only manufacturer that replied to phil kowalski (quinvy) when he enquired about the right cartridge to to use for normal DJ'ing and they recomended this particular one. so now phil uses them at burnley. there was a thread on here somewhere about cartridges/stylus how often should you change them. mark

AS mr plumb has added the orwell i will add mine The Greatstone soul club, also the 3 Greyhounds, the D D A room in lowton, Phils burnley all nighter, all these i know are O V O. i try to avoid just oldies nights as i want to hear different stuff when i am out. I am obviosly a chin stroker and and anorak the camera above the deck is a good idea or do as steve manion does photograph them on the turntable(he has a bad memory) so he knows what to look for. mark

    thats actually not a bad price and he is not a white guy they are 2 white guys possibly german? dont let the fact they are white put you off it is a great 70's northern record i have been playing it for about 8 years maybe more at the greatstone. and it is very popular. mark
  21. sorry ian posted from memory so just assumed fifth, as i said i think this was one of the best from your first batch, a good double sider. the fifth was issued twice light and dark blue labels, a top highland room spin. mark

  23. if she joined the PRS performing rights society then they would sort out any royalties in britain, but as it is never played on the radio and also she only sang on it ian produced and not sure if he wrote the lyrics or music but these are the higher royalty payments. as the singer she would be on the lowest payent of royalties also depends on what her contract was she may well have signed away her royalties for a one of payment, mark
