  1. It sure does. Here are scans of all four releases lifted from around the internet:
  2. T.N.T. - Whip You Lovin' On Me / Everyday Fun - GM 710
  3. Also available on the dark/light blue design:
  4. I don't know... does it? About 60%-70% of the tunes are Motown-related, almost as if Motown = northern soul. And that's not right.
  5. They were Tony Johnson and Tyrone Pickens out of Detroit. Apart from the "Please Operator" 45 they also recorded two more tunes for Atlantic, "Detour" and "Honest I Do" but those remain unissued. Tony was originally a member of The Magnetics, but can only be heard on their "Where Are You" / "The Train" 45 on ALLRITE (same label as Danny Moore).

  11. I know what you mean!
  12. The 45 on the GOLDEN STATE label that can often be found on eBay is a bootleg pressed up a couple of years ago. ORIGINAL 45: ORIGINAL CD: BOOTLEG 45:
  13. No, but that's not the point I'm trying to make.
  14. Yes, the band plays OTDTYH, but it is not the same backing track as anything else as far as I know. The reason I commented on it is because I've seen things like this cause confusion in the past on sales list "plugs" etc.
  15. Do you mean "The Tears Won't Stop Falling"? That one has got a different backing track compared to any other version of "Open The Door To Your Heart" that I've heard. But the band sure plays "OTDTYH".
  16. No, that's a later version and not the same as on the italian 45. The version on the italian 45 can be found on the "...Explosion...!" LP on Alston (#4402) from 1976.
  17. I've attached scans of the italian 45 below. Manship auctioned a copy a couple of months ago for £347.
  18. Yes, that's 100%. Don't have a copy myself, but have seen a scan. Manship even mentions it on his site.
  19. It was originally released on VIRGITONE in the mid-60s. The COSMIC release is a reissue from the mid-70s (1976 if I remember correctly). Have no idea what an original copy goes for, but the reissue can be bought pretty much any week of the year on eBay for $20-$40.
  20. Only 1-2 hours left on these auctions now. Thanks for looking! :-)
  21. Do you happen to have a scan of this? Don't think I've ever seen a vinyl copy of this record, only styrene ones. Would be great to know if vinyl copies exists as well.
  22. Might be of interest that there are two different label variations of the original vinyl LLOYD release as well. Don't know which one was first, but they have got differing publishing details and one of them credits The Rocketeers as the backing band. I have a feeling that the "Tree Pub" was the very first issue, but I'm not 100% sure.
  23. There's about 2 days left on these auctions now.
  24. The record in the scan above looks like it's pressed on styrene, not vinyl. It would surprise me if it's vinyl as you can clearly see the edge of the paper label in the scan (vinyl have moulded labels).
