Frank Beverly Dj, On Ebay
According to some people (John Manship for example), the Rouser issue is indeed the second issue. I have no idea personally. The Rouser release I once held in my hand was pressed on vinyl, not styrene, and so is this copy:

For Sale
Just a friendly thought/suggestion here: It's probably better if you put all your sales into ONE post - and also write out the artist, title, label and condition of each record that you are trying to sell.

Please, Help Me Identify This Tune
Yes, I first heard it on an old internet radio show.

Please, Help Me Identify This Tune
Don't know under which topic I should put this, but I'll try here. Can anyone help me identify the following tune: xxx It's an uptempo late 70s (or maybe early 80s) type of thing with lots of brass. Thanks in advance.

Curtis - How Can I Tell Her - Us 45
As a dancefloor tune, I much prefer the "boing boing" version as well. It has got much more "oomph" and power when played loud. As for home playing I'll probably go with the other version, but mainly because I've heard the 1879 version a whole lot more and it's nice with a change. I've never seen it on a yellow label and the mention of it existing above was the first I've ever seen.

Watson & The Sherlocks On Soulville
Here you go: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=270230845063 Oh, just realised you wanted a M- one. But Craig Moerer's VG+ is usually like most peoples M- in my experience.

Carl Holmes & The Commanders
Haven't heard any of these songs, and don't know anything about it, but found this picture sleeve while searching for info on it. Seems to be the sleeve for a french EP.

Volumes - My Kind Of Girl - Decca Turkey
Thanks for the response guys! Not entirely unknown then it seems, but fairly unusual and rare I guess. It does look very nice with that Decca label.

Volumes - My Kind Of Girl - Decca Turkey
Was just digging through some records sorting out new stuff to put on eBay, and came across a turkish DECCA copy of The Volumes "My Kind Of Girl" b/w "My Road Is the Right Road". I'm often amazed by the stuff that was released in Turkey during the 60s, but this is one of the stranger ones in my opinion. Is there an obvious connection between US Inferno and Decca that I fail to see? Did this 45 ever get a UK release? Some scans:

Does This Really Exist ?
It sold for £186. Here's the auction text: Appreciations - I Can't Hide It - Pye Acetate Colony Records, Hurts Yard, Nottingham the proprietors of the short-lived Destiny label, had this incredible monster Northern Soul tune scheduled for #1016. Ads for their future releases in Blues & Soul, Black Echoes, Northern Noise etc in 1978 confirm that, but it never got past this ORIGINAL PYE ACETATE stage. We believe this to one of only TWO ever made. THE ultimate UK collectors 45, with the USA original being a forlorn and very expensive quest. Here's the scan:

Ace Spectrum
Great tune. I really like the Isley Brothers version as well (US LP-only, but issued on a 7" in the UK).
-
The Emeralds? Baby Likes To Boogaloo
There's a version of this tune by King George as well. Only issued in Denmark. Not as uptempo as the other versions, but still decent.

Unknowns - Modern, R&b, Northern Soul With Soundfiles
Superb tune!

It sells on a weekly basis on eBay for anywhere between $50-$75. Here are the three latest copies that sold: 2008-06-01 - $57.65 2008-06-01 - $71.00 2008-05-23 - $53.00 So I'd say a value of £25-£40.

Lp & 12" Market
I would say that this is one of the main reasons (for me personally at least). If postage was cheaper from the US to Sweden I would be buying cheapie LPs all day long!
