Its all to do with being verified by Paypal . Just had a real nightmare trying to get comfirmation(fooked up on paypal pages) I had to wait nearly a month for a code to be posted to me, which meant that everytime I wanted to pay for something the seller had to wait up to 9 working days for the money to clear out of my bank account . Never mind what people say this scene has done fine for the best part of40 yrs and will go on for a long time yet , most members on here have a long pedigree in the music they love and , I am sure carry it on for a long time yet. Some might say like you that the scene needs the cobweb dusting off but what it don't need is someone with no or little pedigree trying to tell us what or music scene needs. You harp on about you pomoted various events or styles of music around Manchester . That begs the question .Why jump on the soul bandwagon and try to change it. Bang on Matt , anyone can fill a box with boots and call themselves DJ'S . Cut them out and you cut out a chuck of bootleg DJ'S thus making way for Dj's or collectors to freshen up the venues. It may even weed out venues that fail top deliver what they advertise . I recently attended a venue that was advertised as ''Always a packer , underplayed and x/over ,when I arrived after a 48 mile trip it was empty and playing disco shite Imagine how someone making a comeback on to the scene and being greeted with that Tony MAK
