I've been offered some 45s by this guy called Ray Atib ( I think)from Belgium that I have never dealt with before and with all the recent "Belgium rip-offs" I thought I would ask if anyone knows of him? I have had this happen to me and it is very annoying but it does'nt only happen on ebay. I had a winning confirmation letter from Mr Stanley to say I had won a copy of Curtis Lee -Is She in Your Town for $300 last year. Sent the money but got a letter to say that I would'nt now be getting the record as he had discovered that it was a boot. No-one I know has ever seen a boot of Curtis Lee!! So he obviously had someone offer him more after he had sent the winning confirmation.Needless to say I have not ordered anything since even though I may miss out.

I remember a few years back flyers for John Wilko's Bramcote Lodge soul nights had a certain "John Monkeyshite" down as the guest DJ !! It didnt go down well at the time but I'm sure it was just another accidental "slip up" by the Notts soul flyers

Went in DJ-Beans shop a couple of years ago and was struck by what a decent honest bloke he was. He had a stack of photocopied Manships guides that he had done and was knocking them out at $25 each.

If you do find a cd with Margaret Little on Mike can you let us know or a soundtrack as its a song that I can't imagine ever tiring of. Sounded as good as ever when Mick H played it at the Orange last Saturday. Even if you win the lottery you still going to struggle to find a copy.

I thought this was a new KRL bad marketing idea but on closer inspection it looks like being a great weekend. A great DJ lineup and cheap flights via Ryanair into Hamburg - Lubeck. If I can make it will deff be giving it a try.

Don't know about the catalogue number being the same as The Sapians but the closeness of the numbers on the scan is due to there being a slight bubble under the label where the ridge is. On the Foolish Dreamer side they are evenly spaced.

Hopefully this works for the scan, I'll need help to put a sound file up!!
