  1. The bit about Kev is right Dave but you're out of order calling someones post shit There's been enough shit posted on here about this, lets not get into a slanging match about people expressing valid opinions
  2. I admire you people being positive on this but I really think trying to carry on would be a disaster. There's been too much controversy and bad feeling generated and alot will just turn their back on it even if it goes ahead. Rob Wigley's earlier post sums it up Tracey and Andy were unfotunately out of their depth taking on a project of this size and the result was inevitable IMO Lets just put the whole thing to bed apart from people getting their money back
  3. Has this been booted on WD anyone?
  4. Great idea, its two totally separate scenes anyway, and its like groundhog day reading these threads over and over again. You have to be a sad bastard to keep reading them all Lets cast out all the heathens for ever........................... Long live the beautiful people

  11. John I think you could kill the speculaton stone dead quite easily by saying which copy is coming up for auction. If you dont want to as seems obvious - when is the auction going to start? At least we'll know then from the description.
  12. £30 for the pair - anyone?
  13. Saw one go for £74 on ebay recently
  14. i think JM could kill a lot of the speculation without betraying any confidence by simply stating if this is one of the 2 "known" copies or not. John? After all it will be apparent when the auction starts cos it'll be obvious if its TB's or KB's copy by the description

  19. Look closely ken it says WHEN......
  20. And your reasoning behind this is?? Like I said initially, when most collectors (who are now probably the wrong side of 50) are dead, where is the demand going to come from. Where will new collectors come from at the same rate as the ones dying??
  21. Cheers pal, I want that Herbs record back
  22. just talking to myself as usual Ken Dont worry I'm used to it Seriously I havent read anything to convince me that there will be a comparable demand for soul records in say 30 years time. It reminds me of all the times I've heard people say "put your money into bricks & mortar, the value never comes down" ...... Yeah right When I've kicked the bucket, my kids will be increasing the size of their inheritance by selling my records to China or Eastern Europe? sorry...........
