Currently a big demand on this with Evil Bay ones now going over 500$. I'd grade this conservatively at VG+ (UK grade), some sellers would call it Ex (UK grade) based on records I've bought recently. A clean label with very slight wear (see scan). Vinyl bright and shiny with some superficial marks which do not affect the play - its loud and clear on my deck. £225.00 plus post Post £1.50 UK First, £2.50 Recorded, Worldwide air £5 - anything special please request and I'll confirm price. Paypal payment as F&F or add 4% if you want to go that route. 100% guarantee if not happy. PM with questions or to reserve. Cheers Andy

Major Lance - Don't want me no more - 70's boot

Yes I think this is the one he's looking for. I saw a WD on the net but that had Sandi Sheldon on the flip -
I know that. Just read my comment above in response to Tobytyke. As I pointed out its her sister, many get them mixed up, but thought you might actually like the record from one of the Warwick family.

Here's the LP version from Dee Dee....I'll leave to personal taste to choose the 45 or LP

I've been asked to source a copy of this for a mate. If you have one to sell can you PM with price and condition ? Thanks A

I thought being sisters it would be close enough and many get the two mixed up anyway

If we're going with the Kittens I'll go for ' How long (can I go on) with the gritty flipside 'I've got to get over you'. Also for the Carltons ' Keep on Hoping' and 'I'm a man' are rather spiffing little ditties !

Up for sale is the following 45 which I can't find on Popsike or Discogs, and seems pretty obscure. I've not really seen a listing for this. Linda Toussaint - I don't care / when - Soul International £40 Full description Both A&B side vinyl has multiple surface marks and the occasional small light scratch - but it plays well above the grade it looks which I guess would be (VG- for Uk and G+ for US) Play wise its a higher grade. Both labels show some damage with scuffing (see scan) I have attached an mp3 sound file found on the internet (its not my 45) but my copy plays much better than this. All sales 100% guaranteed Paypal payment as F&F or add 4% Post £1.50 UK First, £2.50 recorded and £5 worldwide standard airmail. PM's with questions or to order ATB Andy l toussaint.MP3

Found a duplicate of this great double sided 45 so thought I'd offer it up. Orthea Barnes - I never loved nobody / Waiting for Joey - Coral £30 Full description... A side - label is slightly worn but no rips, stickers or writing and the vinyl has multiple surface marks but no deep gouges or scratches. The run in and first 5 seconds or so does have some surface noise but this fades and is over powered by the music. No skips, jumps etc B Side - I love this very underrated - classic Detroit 'sound'. Label and vinyl as per the A side, but the surface noise here is very minimal and not really heard at all. See scan Overall this plays above a visual grade. All sales 100% guaranteed refund. Paypal as F&F and post £1.50 UK First, £2.50 Recorded Questions, queries of to order please PM. Thanks Andy

Most Accurate Vinyl Graders Us Or Uk Sellers?
Billy Jo Jim Bob replied to slimharpo's topic in Look At Your Box
To answer the original question....I've bought from the US for 30 years or so and I have to say that until recently their grading has been much better in general. I've often had records described as VG but in fact were mint...just needed a dusting down. However it seems in recent years that as they have become aware of the value of vinyl to collectors, their grading's have slipped. The big boys are still very good but some of the Ebay sales I've had over the last 5 years have not matched the described grade. UK are also pretty good in general but I think there tends to be an acceptance that we don't have access (generally) to the stocks like the US guys, so we accept that our grading may differ slightly which is probably why we include the 'Ex' classification in there as most 50 year old 45's have had a least some use.. To cover other aspects, I don't really mind what classification sellers use, US or UK, just so long as they give an accurate description of the label and vinyl and maybe throw in scans to add more detail. I also think the + / - also helps give a more accurate description. As an occasional seller on SS, I use the UK grades, as someone has pointed out its a big jump from VG to M, and I think its useful and reassuring to buyers to offer 100% no quibble guarantee if not satisfied. Then everyone is covered.
