Six weeks Pete is far to long mate but like you say the dilema is Ebay and the fact that if he don't get his way your integrity will be questioned with a big fuss and negative feedback, I had one the other day off Ebay sale slight label damage or rather the label had lifted slightly, vinyl clean the guy was happy to keep the record but asked for a tenner part refund back which I just did after offering a full refund and return of the record, keeps your integrity and reputation, might just be worth taking a hit here Pete and give a refund if nothing else to avoid all the Ebay hassel.

You can get a proof of postage for any mail you send but that's all it is proof of sending and not worth the paper it's written on if the item gets lost, the paid services cover your back mate.

Always send sign for or special delivery it just ain't worth the hassle or worry, then if things do go wrong you have proof of sending, I always do even if it costs me a couple of quid out of the sale it's bloody cheaper than if you have to refund.

Having great fun collecting Gordy/Motown/Tamla/Soul/V.I.P. related stuff seem to have gone full circle and getting back or buying some titles for the first time, the non hits are in the main pretty easy to get if you dig a bit and spend a bit of money, now the problem with the hits is finding them in good condition I'm talking stuff like My Girl, Dancing In The Street etc. great fun trying to find clean copies though but some what of a challenge lol Mark Bicknell.
