Early 90's Pep's shop in Queen Street Wolves, a box of records on the counter had loads of these in, equal number of issues and demos, about £10 - £15 back then. I seem to remember John Manship getting around £500 for one last year, so somewhere between those two values, anybodies guess these days. I certainly wore some leather of my shoes dancing to this all those years ago ... tiny bubbles indeed.
  2. Blue Tit & Chaffinch out in the snow
  3. "If I keep really still behind this twig they will never see me"
  4. Great track, I played this out a few times in the mid 90's always got a few people enquiring what it was.
  5. Well it was nice to get out in the fresh air for a change, unfortunately the light was pants (sorry for resorting to technical terms), and there were not many birds about. Anyway this Goldcrest was scurrying about in the trees behind the hide
  6. I have been busy, and full of cold Steve, hoping to get out tomorrow. Although this was the view from my patio Christmas and New Year
  7. Are you thinking of the Flaming Emeralds on Fee - Have Some Everybody
  8. It appears to be a bird ringed by the local ringing group, the colour is the identifier, unfortunately the bird did not land to get a clear ID on the number, and in flight they tuck the undercarriage up so the markings are obscured by feathers. Generally the birds are ringed as chicks at the nest, we believe that this bird is 2H a locally ringed bird Just to add love those underwater shots
  9. This young Peregrine was chasing everything and anything on the reservoir yesterday, at one point it even had a go at a Goose
  10. A Little Egret ... would have been a scarce visitor not too many years ago, they have become a more common sight recently
  11. We went there on my birthday Steve, nice place Ludlow ... looks like you were there for the knight, we only went for the day
  12. A juvenile Blackcap, amongst the many species of birds that had a really good breeding season at Belvide this year
  13. It has been a while since I got out with the camera, due to spending the last 6 weeks looking after my lovely wife who had broken her arm. She is out of plaster now, and in a few weeks should be back to 100%. Anyway a couple of Tree Sparrows (bearing gifts) to get back into things
  14. Welsh ? Cracking image Steve ... love it
  15. I would agree Steve, I can see how your images have improved, that Reed Warbler with the out of focus reeds and colours in the background is lovely
  16. Sad to hear this R.I.P Mr Tee
  17. John there are a few rubber turntable mats on Google, even a rubber / cork one on Amazon (supposed to do wonders for the sound quality). Rubber one Rubber / Cork one
  18. A Ringed Plover poses for me
  19. What I would call trousers (before you say it) ... Sunday was better, managed to get a couple of shots of the common black & white Lapwing ... amazing what a bit of sun will do to bring out the hidden iridescent colouring of our wildlife.
  20. They would have been easily confused into thinking it was winter on Saturday, it was freezing cold
  21. A couple of Grey Plover in the gloom on Saturday, you don't see many around these parts
  22. A regular summer visitor is the Chiffchaff, another warbler who's call is probably the easiest to recognise
  23. I love to see shots of them in their natural surroundings, nice one Steve
  24. That wasn't what I meant when I said can you find a suitable perch for the kids
