Its interesting that many of the bootlegs are deemed poor quality and yet the argument for vinyl (over digital) is its quality and fullness of sound. I can't fully understand someone wanting to have the track, but not taking the time (or having the budget) to find an original, proceeding to have a poor quality bootleg. Wouldn't they be better having a digital (possibly re mastered copy) they could play on cd or mp3. This would help protect the original vinyl. Why are boots made at all now on vinyl ? Is it economics preventing it being done on mp3 or cd ? Or are the buyers in the market place for these boots only tuned in to doing so on vinyl ?

Sometimes people genuinely forget - sure I have been proded with reminders myself at times..............but for those that do really mess around they should be named and shamed so that it protects others..................of course be sure on your facts else it could come back to bite, but in all of the above nobody is named............. Just to say it can work both ways, I have asked questions of 45s (with genuine intent to purchase) and people have ignored .............so can be two way street...

Recently two parcels from USA being delivered to UK addresses by UPS have failed to be delivered. They were both tracked USA side only - in last 12 years have only every had one not make it..................but recently 2 parcles haven't got through. The first left before Xmas, arrived UK in Feb and was sent back to USA as undelivered, despite full correct address and no missed delivery card. Its been recently sent again (in March) and has yet to show............ The other never made it here or back to the seller................. Any one else experiencing UPS problems ?

It may have been intentional as they were different versions.............sometimes different versions can be interesting ...............well they can be to me

Not stalking you Len lol............ I think this does sometimes happen..........If a dj has some known tunes that they always play (hopefully through a love for them), then if you are on after, it makes no sense to take those same tunes espcecially as hopefully you have other equally as good tunes to drop in. This benefits the crowd attending...

What was the purpose of the box set on vinyl rather than cd ?

A great tune, I was unsure on play out status. Seems all clear - one of the best I heard - would love to hear all versions of course :-)

Like many UK laws, they aren't policed and or have any effective (easily applied) deterrents, therefore counterfeiting is profitable and likely to be increasingly prolific in hard times...........(generalisation) :-)
