A contra view...We have a small but well attended soul night in the Cotswolds. It's a great place to meet old friends, listen to some great tunes and have a jig. It's been running for around 1 year, and the last two we have seen a small but noticeable influx of young folks. I think this is wonderful ... some don't and take the piss out of their dancing etc, but they clearly are enjoying the music. Some will get hooked as I did at 15 and make the scene more vibrant and keep it going when we are all on zimmer frames. I was a div once as were we all when we got into the scene. For me for every head butting dick head there are 20 decent folks we should not tar with the same brush.
