I always mail expensive items (or whenever the buyer wants the service) from California, using a registered service. It's an additional $11.50 to the standard fee for mailing one 45 (approx. $6.00 to the UK), and allows you to track your parcel from door to door using the USPS website. Hope the Western finds it's way to you, but for future reference, always ask for your parcel to be registered.

Hello Paul - I commented on your wants request first.....just replicating here fyi, and added some more info; Great record, and from what I can make out, limited to a 300 press when released in 1977 on the Bounty label. Like a lot of gospel soul recordings the date can cause a little confusion, as this sounds more like a '71/'72 disc. I know 4 floated through eBay over the last year, pretty much all going under the collective radar. 2 came here to California to myself and a friend of mine, not sure what happened to the other 2.

The Intruders is awesome....but that youtube recording of the Florida Spiritualaires is awful. The record itself has a much fuller sound and richer production....very strange eq on that clip.

Great record - heavy midtempo raw soul cut that some might dub 'gospel funk'. Very tough to source a copy too.

I've played this a few times around the US West Coast, to some great reactions. It was set starter for me @ the Seattle Soul Weekender last year - very nice disc. 45 quid is an absolute steal for it. A West Coast dealer had this at bids starting at $300 a couple of months ago....I don't know if it sold, but I think it's worth the money. It's still relatively under-played/exposed from what I can see.
