  11. I'm sure everyone attending will have buckets of fun.
  12. OK Steve. Thanks for clarifying re Sammy Campbell.
  13. Sammy Campbell - I never thought i'd find - Queen City - Vg - £Sold How much did it sell for please?
  14. Len gets the Northern Soul scene in the 80s because he was there.
  15. Malcolm is notoriously difficult to please..............
  16. I said introduced, not reintroduced. It's an era that is widely misunderstood - probably because it was when the Northern/Rare Soul scene went back underground...............underground even to those that had been part of it and thought they knew all about it..........................
  17. In your opinion, maybe............Problem is, no disrespect intended, but your opinion is wrong. A very good deal of people got introduced to Northern/Rare Soul scene during that period, particularly down South. Loads through the scooter rallies which took off during the early/mid 80s and are amongst some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable soulies out there.
  18. You obviously weren't around for Stafford, 100 Club etc during the 80s.
  19. I remember buying John Bowie and Ronnie Forte around 1983/4 for something like £3 apiece, I think from Soul Bowl. So were still selling cheap and in numbers even then.
  20. Here's both sides of my copy and soundfile of "Lonely". I can do a soundfile of the flip a later today. 01 Can't You See I'm Lonely.mp3
  21. Anyone want to buy this number plate? T4CKY
  22. Bit harsh. Some might even say offensive.
  23. The curiosity value of the record was certainly interesting enough, if you're into that sort of thing. What I found bizarre was the descent into abuse between the thread starter and the Aussie label collecting punter who wanted to buy it, amongst other things. Hope that clarifies folks. Back to your on-topic musings!!
