When You Post Up A Wants?
Because you want it, presumably you can't get it (hence your need to post up a want), they have it and you don't. Basic market economics mate.

Value: The Exits "another Sundown..." Kapp Demo
Nobody's forcing you to pay the guy £600 and he's not obliged to sell it to anybody for anything lesshalf what it is worth to him in his perception. I agree that the so-called 'going rate' (whatever that means) is no more than £300. Depends how much you want the record and how soon you want to acquire it doesn't it? I wish you well with the hunt - great record.

A record is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. Simples.- More Ebay Insanity : Lillie Bryant $1,391 ?
I'm taking a wild guess here mate, but maybe he thinks it's rare because he's only come across "a couple of copies in 40 odd years"? Maybe the rest of us think it's pretty rare for similar reasons? Let's ask you the reverse question..........why do you seem to think it isn't that rare? Have you come across a secret stash?- More Ebay Insanity : Lillie Bryant $1,391 ?
I'm not entirely sure what point the original poster is trying to make, but this record has always been a genuine rarity. Seldom turns up.- Deloris Ealy - I've Been Looking (Velvet)
This is the only Deloris Ealy 45 I can find on Ebay at the moment - https://www.ebay.com/itm/ROBERT-CARDWELL-and-his-SOUL-SEARCHERS-BAND-45rpm-7-VELVET-DELORIS-EALY-/200849700142?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item2ec393352e That isn't "I've Been Searching"?- Brad Lundy-Breaking Point
Brad Lundy is one of my all time faves. I know what Pete means about the sound quality, sadly. Prefer Brad's rich tones to Deena Johnson, but that record is a beauty too. Wonderful song..............talk about beat ballads vs funky Northern, eh??- Short Sales List (With Sounds)
