  1. Yes, Benji, found it on You Tube last night Unfortunately 1987 was prime changing nappies, working 7 days a week to support family, not going to Northern nights so I missed this and most local nights at that time as I had to be picky about where I went.
  2. When I try and play it I get Blocked in your country? Any other way to watch it?
  3. Apparently he appeared in Toronto last night!!! $10 per ticket! I am slightly p**sed off at missing this.
  4. At some point I had to decide if I wanted US or Canadian, I decided to keep Okeh copies as I have the pic sleeves as well where available. I have kept the copies of Investigate and Its The Beat on Canadian for now
  5. I just ran 6 of the Major's Canadian Epic 45's through ebay at $5 each and managed to sell 3 of them at $6 each?

    PM sent
  8. Based on 9 pages and the above post from jimmymack I have just decided to cancel my order, shame. Who knows, they may get their act together and re-do them but probably not.
  9. Is anyone interested in some albums with Northern tracks, trading for UK label Soul and Reggae 45's? Albums would be shipping from Canada so shipping would have to be factored into the equation. I have The Exciters, Rufus Lumley, Danny Wagner, Incredibles (Canadian RCA?), Vibrations, Lamont Cranston, Gladys Knight (No One Could Love You More), Martha Reeves (No One There), Dee Dee Warwick (Worth Every Tear I Cry), Larry Santos. Let me know what you have if anyone is interested. Looking for cheaper end Stateside demo's, Action, Pama labels etc.
  10. Just read this and have done exactly the same, thanks guys
  11. I got the updated delivery date email about an hour a go from Amazon.ca Fingers and toes crossed here Rich
  12. We all have our own little idiosyncrasies! I am sure I am not the only one out there and don't get me started on sealed albums

I have a Canadian copy on Columbia but am sure Quittin' Time is not on the other side. When I get a chance I will check
  14. Just ordered off Amazon.ca and went mad and bought the Fame box as well. Fingers and toes crossed for no duplicates, skips etc etc. I was always firmly in the "do not break the shrink" camp but I read at the time there was an issue with the Funk 45's box set so opened it and found 2 copies of a 45 and 1 missing. Since then I have opened everything.
  15. Oh well, I was just going to post this https://www.ebay.com/itm/HORACE-WILLIAMS-Im-Going-Christmas-Shopping-MAGIC-CITY-7-Detroit-Soul-/221321715145?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3387cd5dc9
  16. We enjoyed it, funny with some good music.
  17. Thanks Rob That helps a lot I am assuming you are being "whimsical". We are going for a couple of days and plan to do Stax, Graceland, MLK museum, Sun Studios etc
  18. We are going to Memphis for a couple of days next weekend - 8th Nov. Is there parking at the Museum? Couple of Trip Advisor reviews have me feeling it might not be best to park a car with foreign plates in the neighbourhood? Cheers
  19. Andy Capp on JA Tiger, King Cannon - Soul Pipe on B side
  20. Agree with the Oscar thing, I thought Oprah's performance was brilliant. Agree with the points on the soundtrack as well
  21. I have these 2, both worth picking up. I have the Scepter one somewhere as well. Not sure why the pic is so blurry - 45 is The Blues Busters - Got To Get There/Pretty Girls - Umbrella Records from Canada
  22. Just spent a couple of hours at a "Nostalgia" show after seeing an advert on the internet. Guy advertising couple of 1000 45's. I lashed out and spent a buck on Dobie Gray - In Hollywood - Canadian Reo, and that was all I bought. $5 to get in
