Yes it was on hill. With Bradford Police Headquarters at the bottom of the hill Mind you I think a few of the coppers would come in for a dance after their shift or so I was told by MANY people at the nighter It was just up from the Alhambra. The building is still there but I think it's a 70's disco type of place for the townies. Flares or something. I've also heard there is bar slap bang in the middle of where the dancefloor used to be but I haven't had the guts to go & have a look for myself as I know it would only upset me (cos I'm as soft as shxte!) Yeah that sounds just like Muzzy. Shame no-one's seen him about for a while. I keep pestering Cliff whenever I bump into him but he hasnt seen him for years either. Aaw I hope he's alright & happy wherever he is or whatever he's doing. Ali x

Actually Brett I've got a photo of "Muzzy" from downstairs at Bradford sat with Cliff Dale. You're not on it though as you were probably out in the car getting 40 winks Do you ever see anything of Muzzy ? I bump into Cliff from time to time & he's doing fine but I would love to know how Muzzy is doing. Ali x

Hi Paul I've got some pics from Bradford both upstairs & downstairs I dont have a scanner yet but all being well Santa's bringing me one for Christmas so I'll get them posted up over the festive period ..... or knowing me & technology ......... the summer of 2010 !! Yes the "Mighty Bub" was a fantastic character that the scene still misses today. I remember at one Cleethorpes he was due to do his spot, entered the room with a massive record box & announced to us all over the mike not to get too excited as the box didnt contain any records ..... just his lunch !! When I used to frequent the Bradford Queens Hall Nighters in the late 80's they used to search your bags & holdalls on the way in, not for Beer, Drugs or Weapons ..... but for talcum powder !!! I think it was a combination of playing havoc with the sound system & the massive clear up the morning after. It was quite funny & bizarre seeing all the bottles of confiscated talc lined up in the reception area. For me, occasionally a little bit of talc is needed but the above amount is just obscene & the perpetrater should have had their nose rubbed in it!! Ali x
