Swiss Movement First Issue Or Not,
Has the first issue a good sound quality? 2nd press is rather low-fi from what I remember...

Thanks for posting them, Valadiers and Spindletoppers two of my alltime favourite early 60s sounds. BTW, flip of Spindletoppers "hey moon" is nice too.

Ronnie Mccain - This Time I'm Gone - Ever Played Out?
That's correct. Had a handfull of copies over the years and found them all locally. Though the last one I had was about 10 years ago. Nice record but that's it. Nothing really outstanding.

Comedy Sale Of The Day
IMO it's just an error/typo in the listing not a comedy sale.

Milton Wright On Alston
I only have his "Friends & Buddies" album which I haven't played for years. Your post was a nice excuse to dig it out again. I sure disagree with you re. "keep it up". This may sounds a bit dull at home but once you've heard it booming out the speakers in a club you sure know why there's demand for it. Can't hear any similarities to Stevie Wonder. whereas flipside "silence that you keep" is infact a stevie wonder imitation. What are the tracks of the 2nd 45? Are they off the album as well?

Do You Have Any Records That Have History, Stories Attached To Them?
My copies of Masquaders - Same thing and M.B.S. - Another day have been covered up at one time in the past, both have the typical sellotapes in the run-out. Wonder who played them covered up? Have a copy of Mike & Ray - if only you knew signed by them. A few years ago I bought a copy of the Jimmy Witherspoon - Spoon in London on Ebay, described as WOL on cover. Turned out said WOL reads "Best wishes, Jimmy Witherspoon", nice one!

The M.b.s. - Face Facts / Just Say Hello - B-Jet Any Info?
Hi Derek, thanks for the info. "Hello" sounds quite nice if you try to ignore the horrible scratches I think I'm gonna to put it on my "want-it-not-now-but-later-list" I was quite surprised to see they had two releases on that label. I mean, label screams "very rare" if just look at it doesn't it? I wonder which one came first. You can't tell by the cat. no. "another day" is #5822 and "just to say hello" is #12737.

The M.b.s. - Face Facts / Just Say Hello - B-Jet Any Info?
Just came across this: The M.B.S. - Face Facts / Just say hello - B-Jet I have their other release on the same label ("Another day") and was wondering what this one here is like? Is it Soul? Northern? Anyone with a soundfile maybe? Any info much appreciated! Thanks! Benji

Tempests 'someday' Unreleased 45
To me it sounds like a different mix, vocals more prominent than on the LP. Which is a shame as the brilliant backing gets a bit 'lost' if you know what I mean. The LP take is definitely the one to play at a do.
