Wilson Pickett,oh Baby Don't You Weep
From what I remember despite being released on several labels it's just the one album, i.e. same songs in same order??

Previously Unissued Material
Rich, maybe I should have added a smilie to "soul police" as it was meant to light-hearted. I know that general consent was not to include 12". Somehow it's not that easy to be ironic or sarcastic in a different language...

Mel Wynn & The Rhythm Aces - Stop Sign
think Pete S had it on his list for 120 recently?
-
Previously Unissued Material
yes Garland Green was on Kent LP first. According to the Soul Police 12" are to be omitted as they are technically no 7" 45s even if they play at 45 or 78 or whatever..
-
Anyone Seen One Of These?
It's not an actual german release. It was pressed in Germany, yes but so were many UK Ace and Kent releases back then. Ace has/had a sub-label called Southbound so this 7" is more likely to be a UK issued record that was pressed in Germany.

LAST BUMP! ENDING TONIGHT! loads of nice collectable 45s, still few with no or just low bids so far...- Lester Tipton
always thought there is "honest" and its opposite, "dishonest". so you saying he was not totally honest says in book he was dishonest. you contradict yourself IMO... anyway, back to the thread. If I had two copies of such a rare record I wouldn't bother to tell anyone. Imagine you have a lester tipton in your collection and find another, would you price it 25% cheaper than its market value because it's less rare than before you found said spare copy? no, you wouldn't.- Serious Discussion About Ebay Prices
I guess most people who bought stuff from me on ebay got bargains- O.v.o And C.r.&.p Venues
yeah but I've heard they have lousy bar staff at bicknell's and the owner isn't that happy if you put talc on the floor- Wtf?
I think it's more like Butch/Keb/Sams tastebuds playing up nice backing but vocals are sooo weak and the song never really goes anywhere. certainly emperors new clothes syndrom here- Deejaying With Vinyl ( Best Practises )
maybe worth mentioning that most of these DJ cartridges have needles that are not really "gentle" to the vinyl. I've been using Ortophon cartridges for more years than I remember and never had any problems with them. If there was a problem it was the needle which I used to replace every few months when I was dj-ing regularly. Get the "DJ"-needle for club work and the other one (forgot its name) for use at home.- 45s On Ebay: All With Soundclips And Scans
MID-WEEK BUMP. 4 Days left and still many bargains!- Frederick Hymes: Time Ain´t Gonna Do Me No Favour (Fab Vegas)
The american seller who had quantities on F. Hymes (Rich Rosen? or at least seller was from Las Vegas) had originals and reissues of quite a few other titles for sale at the very same time. As far as I remember all F. Hymes copies were genuine but folks were a bit worried about that back then. Anyone confirm?- 45s On Ebay: All With Soundclips And Scans
