  1. Hope you'll like it mate. Watched a Jack Kerouac/Beat Generation-related documentary the other night and for whatever reason felt the urge to knock a 60s Mod Jazz podcast together.
  2. dito. NB. anyone got a copy for sale? NB 2: just played the flip side "hiding in your heart" on youtube. Verrrrrry nice midtempo!
  3. I like it lots. Fantastic record. That should balance out BIGSOULMANs post

  5. Black label/white writing white label/red writing white label/black writing/two lines across label/something like "promotional copy" on label are all originals. white label/black writing w/out lines exists as bootleg and original. don't know how differenciate these two.
  6. There's also an unofficial 6 CD (or was it 8 CDs?) compilation that came in a sort of DVD cover. Quite a nice selection of tracks.

If skip comes from pressing fault, e.g. grooves too close, then there's nothing you can do about it. Magnifier plus a really thin blade/needle works only if the skip results from a scratch going across two or more grooves. I managed to repair quite a few discs that way tho
  8. Tony Clarke - Landslide - Chess Eddie Parker - Love you baby - Ashford Both rather cheap on issue and very rare on demo aren't they?

If you wanna discuss record prices open a thread in LATYB ffs. This is Sales, S-A-L-E-S.
  10. Or at least have the courtesy to reply to my PM. I asked Cobbles what price he's looking for but it looks like he can't be even bothered to reply. His loss, not mine. I'll buy it anywhere else then.
  11. Gene, guidelines say, please don't remove prices of sold items. Guidelines don't say, follow a link to see the prices.
  12. Any specific reason why you removed the prices of sold items?
  13. Updated. Fantastic Four anyone?
  14. Three midtempo wants. Condition EX or better. Reasonable prices paid. Please PM. Thanks! BILLY BYERS - REMIND MY BABY OF ME - SCEPTER FANTASTIC FOUR - I'M GONNA LIVE UP TO WHAT SHE THINKS - RIC TIC BOBBIE SMITH - WALK ON INTO MY HEART - AMERICAN ARTS DEBONAIRS - HOW'S YOUR NEW LOVE TREATING YOU - GOLDEN WORLD
  15. Wow, that looks tasty! Wanna sell it?
  16. THE PRETENDERS - JUST BE YOURSELF - CARNIVAL EX £80 SOLD 70's oldie. Played at Stafford (?). Still sounds so good. Guess this is rarer than most think. I found only two copies on Soul Source in the last two years. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ worldwide P&P from Germany: £3.10 standard / £5.00 signed for / £6.50 fully insured (Europe only) Paypal preferred, as gift if possible. Bank transfer ok.

I first heard it on a tape recording of one of your Yarmouth radio shows. Took me many years to find a reasonable priced copy. Shortly after I got it price started to dwindle
  18. When did it close down? I think I passed by on one of my first trips to London mid 80s. I do remember when i saw the name I thought how tasteless it is.
  19. Updated. Only Ron Hall left. Shame, probably the best record of the lot.
  20. I see, thanks. Didn't know the reissue is that old. Thought it's a recent one.
  21. Original master tapes of both sides of Moments on Hog plus a previously unreleased track* were advertised on Ebay some time ago (2 years maybe?). Don't know if they sold in the end. * Might have been the flipside of the Wax Poetics reissue but am not sure.
  22. It's not like they get robbed. More often than not they leave their boxes unattended somewhere in the venue.
  23. Name him. you know you want to
  24. Even tho Kev gave it a thumbs up it didn't sell @25 so now reduced to 20. That's just two tenners! Have yourself a bargain and I can buy some food for the kids and cats. Wouldn't sell it if it wasn't a spare....
  25. Jock, you assume that artist holds the rights for the record. I guess in 9 of 10 cases the artist doesn't hold any rights to his own material.
