Freddie Houston issue was one of a few rarities in the only parcel I ever lost on its way from the US. Think I paid $50-60 for it.. Still gutted.
  8. 5 hours to go. all still at bargain prices...
  9. This is awesome, thanks!
  10. Paul, thanks for sharing. Downloading it as I type. Any podcast feature Mr. Blue is bound to be a good one
  11. I rate it @100 max if mint, no matter if spanish or german. Any set sale price above this is just taking the piss. And 270 on auction serves them idiots right not to shop around. probably the same collectors who bid on manship's overblown auctions. anyway it's sold so i close this thread.
  12. auctions ending tomorrow....

Indeed a great vocal duo. Come back baby lovely record. Tho I don't think it's danceable, too hectic IMO. Apart from the 30 Mins of Soul album they had two 45s in Germany, one is Just a little tear on Metronome, the other one is this little beauty here that has eluded itself from me for quite some time:
  14. Well, what did you expect for not mentioning a major fault in condition? 5 stars?
  15. The alt version is not Candy & The Kisses, even tho it's credited to them on the withdrawn Kent release. It's Val Simpson's demo take.
  16. NINA SIMONE - TOUCHING AND CARING - BELLAPHON (GERMANY) EX+ £40 SOLD Great Modern Soul dancer, popular since played at Stafford as a new release. No US/UK 45 release. Hard to find german issue. Usually sells for £70 - £100 From a DJ's collection who unfortunately had the urge to write on both sides of the cover. Hence bargain price. But as a bonus you'd get the accompanied press release info sheet! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ worldwide P&P from Germany: signed for only! @ £5.00 Paypal preferred, as gift if possible. audio clip available on request.
  17. There's also a slightly longer take on a GF album.
  18. you're right. Missed BIEM on the label as I didn't have the glasses on.
  19. Chris, the Scepter one might be scandinavian, like swedish??
  20. Franc, glad you enjoy the podcast. Dee Dee is taken off the 1969 "Foolish Fool" album on Mercury, regular issue. Don't think the LP take is faster than the 45. It's more like that my cheapo Technics lookalike turntable actually plays a bit faster when set to @33 rpm.
  21. Sounds from the Shelter vol.13 - Gotta fall in love again The first 2013 cast features LP-only tracks* with a sort of midtempo crossover-ish feel. No.
  24. I'm sure it is. German issue is on Avco Embassy and from what I remember there's at least another Euro issue on that label as well.
