What are these blue and yellow Cotique labels? I've only ever seen the multi coloured swirly issues or white label promos from what I can recall?

It is on Cotique, but all the copies I've seen have been white promos mate. Ray Jay and the Eastsiders did release at least one other track (Searching for love) on Cotique that I know of, but pretty sure I've only seen promos of that one as well?

Latin is incredibly hard to find in the U.S., especially the quality stuff. Beggsy was playing this around 1995, he spun it at the 100 Club around that time and apparently had a queue of people wanting to know what it was (though I reckon they were more likely trying to remove him from the decks ) He also reckons that the Stereo M.C.s had sampled the intro from it around that time. Right, back to the sunbed for a top-up...
  5. Not aware of boots of Sonny Til or Dooley Sisters. Sonny Til 'Hey little woman' was released twice on CP with 2 different flips. Ernie Fields on U.K. London £25 - £30. Regards Mace

Old Johnny Beggs spin from many moons ago....he does love his latin bless him. I'd say £40 - £50 is about it's money, though I have sold it for £30 before now. £70 is a tad high Phil....though I have seen some-one list it on here for £90 in the past Regards Mace

Has anybody ever seen/heard the Jerry Williams release on Academy 113 called Hum-baby? If so, can anybody post a sound clip please? Regards Mace

Depends how you equate value me 'owd mucka. Surely demand plays as much a part in this equation as rarity? Regards Mace
  11. Well, I've got one copy here (Ex cond), and another copy winging it's way over from the States as we speak...so you could both be in luck Will have to confirm the condition of the other copy when it arrives. Regards Mace

Try Craig Moerer....it seems as though he has had a few in the last 12 months. You will have to offer him £700+ for a copy as he has sold a couple for that amount recently. Regards Mace
  13. I've got an Ex cond copy of this that I'd be willing to let go for the right price...... So what is the going rate then....I know it books at £50 but a long queue suggests it fetches much more?
  14. Found 2 mint issues in the States recently. £120 is about right imo. It's probably the best version that's acceptable on the Northern scene, but the c/u male version I play on the R&B/Mod scenes is better IMO
  15. A good point Mike, and one that a few of us were discussing at the last BIDDS ALLNIGHTER. Anyone wanting to add to our discussion, can join us on Oct 17th for our next BIDDS ALLNIGHTER...just a mere 15 sleeps away Sorry mate, couldn't resist (delete at your leisure)...........
  16. Well I think that you (as in 'Sharon') should apologise to the poor defenseless rugby player you assaulted at Holmes Chapel , and then get your collective arses back up there. Least that way Beggsy has to pick me up as he has to pass me en route and I can therefore get well and truly slobbered Good enough reason imo....
  17. Got the La La Wilson but can't bring myself to part with it sorry Deffo a hard one on U.S. mind, and if I ever decide to sell it on I'll let you know. Regards Mace

Pretty sure Ted C sold his for £500 Sam...though the buyer was desperate for it so may have pushed a high price to get it. Gotta be around £300 I'd say, another one of my 'Des Parker bargains' for the princely sum of £20
  19. Nope ....just ask Des
  20. Quote Mr. Fingers earlier posting on another thread 'You bunch of SAD G**S !! - Gawd.. 21. Minimum £500 Tis hard on British mate, but surely not worth more than £100 - £150 max. U.S. Astor worth about £40 nowadays imo.
  22. Is it one sided, and if not, is the flip any good Des?
  23. I do indeed. Let me know if you want it or not Shute? Ta for that Linda

  25. Hi Spook, you are correct with both the issue and promo being booted. Both have artist name too big in relation to title as you stated. Promo boot also has no capital D on surname(ie dodds instead of Dodds) On the Issue boot the 'El Camino Records' around the label middle does not flow as smooth in it's curvature. My promo has the DEMAC stamp as Joe mentions, wheras I think Demac BMI is printed as part of the label design on the issue...presumably they must have forgot to add the Demac text to the promo label and so stamped them on afterwards...should imagine all promos will have the stamp if this is the case. Regards Mace
