Im Gone
It's pointless trying to count the number of copies of a record because there are so many people who are unknown to 'the scene' who collect from home. I know someone who bought I'm Gone for £2 at The Torch on the back of Love You Baby!

Yeah I was - not the fact it was said, I just wondered how they knew it was Paul Simon who said it

Have You Got Real Soul In Ya Bones
The only thing I'm sulking about is WBA not getting relegated

Have You Got Real Soul In Ya Bones
I can't see the point in comparing Sam to Levine. They've both had their good periods and both had their bad ones.

Anyone Help With These Tracks
Stronger Than Her Love inst used to be up on soulclub.org mate...I've got an inst of Hurt On The Other Side credited to 'The Alan Lorber Orchestra' and it's definitely the real backing track. Finding it might be aproblem though, it's on a tape in the garage

No I don't have any of those people in my collection, sorry. I'm obviously not worthy enough to be on this site. See you around

Mystery Sound To Me
Sounds nothing like the Manhattans version, too far removed to be an alternative from that session I'd have thought. I think it's Peter Starstedt.

Not the same Singing Nun as the Belgian one.

Wants
Mike, if I remember rightly...someone set up a website all about Rodd Keith and the songwriting/recording scams of the 60's, I think I originally downloaded it off there and then got in touch with someone connected to the site? I know it cost me, well, not much. I've never seen another one and I didn't even record the one I sold Andy so there aren't any dodgy copies emanating from me however, if that website is still up, the full version is on there along with a myriad of other weird and wonderful songs (it was like, send in your lyrics and we'll turn it into a song...for a small fee)

OK well apologies, you know I have a bad memory for prices: however, I'd be very surprised if it were more than £200. Was about 3 years ago I think wasn't it Andy? Bloody nice copy though, can't remember how I came by it even.

Wanted 4 A Good Mate
I still say there's no old style logo on this and if anyone's going to know it's Mick Smith, and he reckons there isn't one either.

Your Fave 60's Pop Record
I met this guy about 5 years ago, when I used to go pick the post up from the p.o. box in Hastings...anyway he saw I was picking up records and we got chatting, he says he's a member of the band Ruperts People, so I said what, this new incarnation, and he says no, the original band. Anyway I got his name and number, went home and looked them up, no way was he in the original band. Then he came round my house and gave me a poster for Ruperts People playing live in Israel in 1968! Said I could have it. I said which one are you, and he points at one member who looks nothing like him. Anyway I gave him a lovely US Bell issue of Reflections for it, stuck it on Ebay, got £80. I still don't know if he really was in the band or not but if not, how did he get the poster??

Your Fave 60's Pop Record
That is a fantastic record. Think they only did 2 singles then disappeared.

Dana Valery
That is a moot point actually because before entering the word I did a search and it came up with the way I spelt it first. So there. Coffin dodger

Honest Price
I'd say you were right on Bill Griffin - at one time it was double that but it's hard to sell and not as rare as was once thought
