This Rita & The Tiaras Cover Up
Definitely...but if thats the case, why would someone have paid tons of dosh for it, no major label records are worth that much

Spoken Intro
There's a couple of phone calls in that record, doesn't do much for the flow of the track, in fact whoever plugged that should be named and shamed p.s. I bought it

This Rita & The Tiaras Cover Up
I just paid this to a mate of mine, Martyn, he said if that came on a tape of unknowns he'd have fast forwarded it so it's not just me - and also he reckons it's a 70's recording, I said maybe 68, 69 ...

(puts on Peter Kaye voice from Max & Paddy) HOW DARE YOU!!!!- Just A Thought
If you aren't prepared to back up what you say while sitting behind a keyboard when you meet someone in the flesh then you shouldn't say it. Anyone can be a keyboard warrior. If you ask me to my face I will tell you that: modern soul is utter shite john peel was far more important than dave godin I don't care about royalties, bootlegs, whatever Wigan was the best venue of all time Stop The Clock and Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark are both brilliant- Just A Thought
I think it's full of very lively debate but my only complaint is that a lot of people will not, or are afraid to express an opinion different to that of certain posters on here. In fact once the boot has been put in, they all join in like vultures. If you have a point of view that is different to the majority, you are made to feel like you have no business being on here as you obviously have no interest in 'soul'. And whats worse is when you get people pm-ing you saying they agree with you but didn't want to reply on list as they didn't want to be seen to be agreeing with you! SWONS eh- This Rita & The Tiaras Cover Up
Is it true it actually is The Tiaras? I heard it was spun uncovered at The Dome.- Randy Newman At Xmas

Joe Orton, I just read your autobiography and it was the most boring book I've ever read. The film was miles better. In answer to your question. A bit of both- Best Discovery Of 2004
OK I had another listen. It's alright but there's something missing there. Also I'd think it is on a fairly major label going by the production and it sounds 67-68 ish.- Best Discovery Of 2004
Yeah thats me. Don't know f*** all and never have. Reason I didn't like it, it's too poppy and it goes on and on without doing anything. Wouldn't have even been taken out of it's sleeve 30 years ago.- Not Played Anymore
You said 8th of Feb before!- Last List Of The Year From Me
Yeah this one was off Ebay a fortnight ago, £24....I'm sure yours is the only mint copy in the world though :graynone:- Not Played Anymore
Kinell, don't tell me we're gonna get this plugged every day for the next 5 weeks- Desperately Seeking..........ed Bruce
This is actually pretty arre and not bad either - specially compared to his other one. Can only remember having it once and Mick Smith had it off me, that always gives the game away- Last List Of The Year From Me
Yes mate, black label, dog on left, definitely a rare one but surprisingly little interest, having said that, there's been nobody about at all today. It did sell to the one guy who asked, I reckon that it's a good investment. nb it's not as scruffy as it looks in that scan!- Sick Of Cover-ups- Why Do It?
Oh here we go again....think I'll keep out of it this time- Sick Of Cover-ups- Why Do It?
I know what that is, I'll tell you when I remember, I know it's in Tim Brown's price guide with a made up label - Pikachu- Harold Andrews
You need to ask Mr Anderson- Best Discovery Of 2004
That Tiaras cover up is absolutey terrible, don't know what it sounds like loud but on your stereo it's rubbish. The best discovery of the year was OBVIOUSLY Shirley Matthews - Stop the clock
