  4. Yes thats on the other side of Love Is Like An Itching I think, both LP tracks
  5. He did loads but maybe they were local biggies, for instance the one on the Kent lp above, never heard it anywhere except on that LP. He did stacks of soul covers, Twine Time, Land of 1000 Dances, Nothings Too Good For My Baby (included on UA Northern LP), Cool Jerk etc
  6. There's a lot of them but the only one I can ever remember hearing out, and this was way way back about 1975, was Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart, which was actually booted on a 45. They're all LP tracks I think.
  7. There's another version related to that one, on UK King by "Heather", think it's the same backing as H Ellis but it's been beefed up a bit.
  8. Am upgrading my Mac to a 27" so I have decided to sell my 21", it was bought in late 2010 and not used until well into 2011, it's still in perfect condition and works as good as new. Comes with it's wireless keyboard and mouse. Technical spec is below. I can wipe it totally clean or if you want to, I can leave my entire itunes library on there if you wish, there's 43,000 tracks in it including every Kent release, every Trojan release etc. Also has around £1000 worth of software on there including Microsoft Office. Please drop me a line if interested or if you need to know anything. (I also still have the box that it came in) pete.smith@freeuk.com 01902 326306 Asking £500 no offers. 9. You can't take Discogs as gospel, whoever entered the record on Discogs supplied the information and that could be anyone and they could say anything.
  10. No but I can sell you an orange original

Why do people always want to try to fix something that's not broken? You have to dj like this or the scene can't evolve. You have to play records that sound like this otherwise you're stuck in a time warp. Just go away and leave us to it.
  12. How can a second issue be an original? This is all crazy talk. Back then they were called 'pressings' - today, they're still pressings. Just because they're "legal reissues" doesn't make them originals, the original came out in 1965 not 1975.
  13. Sorry probably didn't see it - didn't include every cover version.
  14. Yes cos when you think about it, it was issued on Destiny on 79 and was still being played so I'd guess the boot is late 78. I don't think it's on any of my Wigan tapes at all, I stopped taping August 78.
  15. Was a 78 reissue I think (boot, whatever). Never went that massive really, got played a lot but didn't have a huge following. Never been a fan myself...it's alright.
  16. It is, that was a one off I did, it was actually going to be the sleeve notes to a CD I compiled but I ended up writing 24 pages or something like that. They were made to order and I can't have done more than 20 copies of that because I charged for the cd and not the magazine. And I was right, I don't have a copy of it!
  17. Really? I probably haven't got it, whatever it is!
  18. I read carefully but couldn't find the reggae ones :-)
  19. This is a link to a blog site, it's mainly Rock stuff, on the left hand side half way down are links to loads of Australian sites including many discographies and histories etc https://rockonvinyl.blogspot.co.uk/

It's related but from Don Davis I think mate, Groovesville. Was credited to Barbara Mercer after Diana Ross.
