Mighty Dodos
Jeez, this, that Skatalites thing and that crap Jimmy Thomas record on blue Spark, I sell those things for a fiver each. Or rather, I did...if I didn't sell my copy to Mark, I might still have this in the garage, if I have I promise you it won't be very expensive.

Is "auctions" another of those dead parts of the forum which nobody ever reads, like Audio / Visual? That's why I put it in sales. It is for sale.

Somewhere, on this site, is a listing of all soul 45's released on Australian CBS that I did...one or two real interesting issues that never came out in the UK, I'll see if I can find it

Soul Pack 45S
Sounds like a Richard Domar pack, he had stacks of Chicago labels, most were 'oily' on the vinyl if I remember correctly. Paul Rudzitis used to do packs as well, late 80's. I only really talk about the 70's though when I'm reminiscing about soul packs.

Is This The Most Expensive U.k Soul Single
I'd rate that as the hardest of all UK's.

What To Do With Motown Box Set?
Ah I can counter with a reason to split a box set: I sold my original Blue Cat 45 of Lynn Tait "Way Of Life" for £150 and had no hope of getting another. Then Trojan reissued it as part of their Lucky Sevens box set. This meant I could get it for £50. I didn't want any of the other 45's so I kept the Lynn Taitt and sold the others separately for £15 each. Maybe some people bought the Motown box for one disc... I'd just sell the box set and hope I get what I paid for it I think

Did I dream it or is their a Aussie Verve "Living A Lie"?

Aussie Release Thread
To someone interested in records this is infinitely more interesting than the 100 Club Singles thread, we've all seen these but there's still loads of Aussie 45's which are way off the radar. And as Pikeys Dog says on that thread, who cares what they go for?

Is This The Most Expensive U.k Soul Single
That really is double the price it should be though. Last one I had I sold for £700 and I wouldn't ask more for it now.

Aussie Release Thread
He's got all the guides has Mal, he knows more about Oz 45's than anyone I know. He hasn't got that weird New Zealand copy of Fife Piper that I've got though, on the old early 60's purple Pye label.

With a little help from my mate in NY, he found out that it was actually sent out for delivery weeks ago, so as you expect, it's just been dumped with someone

Soul Pack 45S
When my brothers mother in law died about 5 years ago, they went round her house to clear up and found a soul pack from Goulds (Wolverhampton) still in the shop bag, it belonged to his wifes brother who was into soul in the mid 70's, anyway he gave it to me and most of it was rubbish except for a Four Voices We Live In The Ghetto and Derek Martin If You Go. So although it was originally sold circa 1974, I did find them within the last 20 years. (Normally you'd get a lot of later Gordy imports and stuff like that)

No Northern Soul God Help Us
Anything except for house / dance / rave / techno. Actually I already do listen to everything except that stuff.

Awesome record, had this on a blank for years, I also have The Break, I paid £275 for that! So I ebayed it and got back half of what I paid. Damn fake bidders making me pay over the top.- Can Anybody Tell Me Who This Is?
Sarcastic. Was expecting to hear Dean Martin come in on vocals. - What An Emotional Tune
