Lyle And Scott Vintage Harrington Jacket
You ought to put the measurements up, chest and sleeves, and a photo - sure you'd sell it, sounds really nice

Comedy Sale Of The Day
Yes I did mean that mate, I don't think hardly any of those green and white demos with reissued tracks on are worth much

Comedy Sale Of The Day
That's right, if it's the Oh How Happy 45, came out on a demo, wasn't released, then was rescheduled, came out on demo and issue. First one is rare like you say. * checked and it's Agent 00 Soul. IN that case, forget anything I said, that's worth £40.

Who Was Shep?
I think it was actually Sidney Barnes mate

Charles Diamond & The Inspirations - No One Can Take Your Place
When people have paid £100+ for an Eddie Parker pressing I don't think you need justify anything really Dave.

How Can You Tell Which Record Is The Original 1St Issue In Your Box
Both originals, one East Coast one West Coast, in the case of the record above, just see if it's got a delta number

Recording Flaw?

Charles Diamond & The Inspirations - No One Can Take Your Place
In the real world, yes, although that was never advertised and sold as a reissue for £1.25 was it?

Comedy Sale Of The Day
Andy he's not interested, he is actually a member on here and was selling records on here yesterday, look for collection of G & W Motown demos, same seller. Been told about it before but has never responded as far as I know. Should not be allowed to use the word original when it's blatantly not.

Charles Diamond & The Inspirations - No One Can Take Your Place
That's great info because putting a definite figure of 1000 copies, now nobody can say oh well they only ever pressed 250...

Charles Diamond & The Inspirations - No One Can Take Your Place
I got £32 for an Enchantments on Joker (albeit one with a US large centre) but all my pressings this week apart from that, and there have been 60 of them, went for the standard 5 to 10 quid. Good titles as well.

Charles Diamond & The Inspirations - No One Can Take Your Place
That's mind-boggling really, these were sold as reissues along with every other pressing, bootleg and whatever else, for £1 or £1.25, I must have had at least 20 over the last 15 years and I always sold them for £5, then £10, sold one for £20 about 3 years ago and then saw what was happening with them on Ebay and put them on there now. I have to say that anyone paying £70 for a reissue such as this needs their head testing.

Velours On Mgm
It was, original is a lot more felxible than the boot but it's a very very good lookalike, sorry can't remember any more info of the top of my head but MGM/Verve records often have a 'bed' stamp, have a look for that (rectangular stamp)

Please Help Me To Find Complete Discography King Uk Label
That copy looks like it's from Holland or somewhere in Europe. Record is utter crap, sorry

Please Help Me To Find Complete Discography King Uk Label
lol so did I, back in around 1990, was in this shop and pulled a Detroit Spinners 'i'll always love you' red and white demo out, £20, Rocamars, £6, and this weird record by The Johnstone McPhilbry or something like that, on Philips or Fontana, paid £1 for that, it was terrible, think I gave it away. Now books at £125 or something like that

Please Help Me To Find Complete Discography King Uk Label
Oh one to avoid is The Rocomars - All In Black Woman, this is in quite a few soul discographies incuding the Manship UK guide but it's actually a Cliff & The Shadows copy, no soul content and hardly any beat content either

Please Help Me To Find Complete Discography King Uk Label
Pretty standard danceable R&B from 64/65

Poll: Your Night Out
Now rumour has it that Led Zepplin's "Trampled Underfoot" was played at the Mecca as a new release, it sure has that 'groove' to it...

Charles Diamond & The Inspirations - No One Can Take Your Place
The Johnnie Mae version is untouchable to my ears. I like both of the Inspirations versions, it was years before I realised there were two as it didn't get played too often. Pink label one just edges it for me.
