Because in 99% of cases, I just don't like UK produced ska/reggae. It's the same as the people who don't like UK northern stompers I suppose. There's just that slight polish that's missing from Jamaican recordings which makes them so raw.

If you hold the boot to the light the vinyl looks almost reddy/brown - plus if you put the needle on the record, it's totally silwnt and then you hear the slight hiss of the original come in

Yeah I've seen those but this one actually referred to 'my ebay' messages which they never have before, which is supposed to be the safe place to actually read messages, if you see what I mean
