First week of August 1974....Senators basement disco in Great Yarmouth...."Don't Rock The Boat "by the Huges Corp was filling the floor at the time and i was missing my older sister'sTamla records(she had left home for uni)...when a record called Purple Haze by Johnny Jones and the KC came out of the speakers and the floor cleared and another group of dancers appeared and i was fcuking hooked......

  12. Wow...some opinion.....when i first heard it out - Paul Sadot at Lifeline at the Fox- I thought that's very interesting although with somewhat weak vocals but fresh and very danceable.....but hey...if you think its crap then it must be!
  13. I know the first time I heard it was at a lifeline when it was at that little place on the A1...The Fox if I remember...can't recall who spun it...Paul Sadot springs to mind.
