  2. Sorry Bob, you are right.....I got carried away. Many of these not really ebay regulars, but just seem to be for sale often now. Also if you go out to nighters over here, every DJ seems to have a copy all of a sudden.
  3. I have always found that if you grade conservatively, and offer a money back guarantee, there is never a problem. Problems emerge when seemingly charming sellers, suddenly turn into absolute t**ts, if you ask for a refund on a 45 that you are not happy with. If you are straight with people, grading is irrelevant.

  11. Nice post KB. I honestly thought that the Kings Hall did play all the big tunes from the past? Maybe like a lot of soul nights that I've attended, they seem to stick to the Casino playlist? Rather than the Wheel, Catacombs, Torch and early Mecca stuff. I don't know what the answer is for you, as I don't attend that kind of event. Surely someone on here will reccomend a night that would be up your street. Maybe post up a list of your fave tunes just to give us an idea of where you are at, musically? Just a shame that you aren't going out anymore.... Phil.
  12. Yes that's slightly more than I got for my issue. This was mint unplayed, so this seems to be about the going rate.
  13. What happened to the Kenny Gamble then?????
  14. Just going off topic a bit Kev. What sort of size is that room? I've never been to Stoke. I'm off to email Butch now and ask him for a spot.
  15. YES!!!!!!! WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT..... thanks Paul, look out Kev Roberts.
  16. I got some old cassette tapes off Cliff Camfield a couple of months ago, and this tune was on one of them. Must have been about for quite some time. I think Cliff was playing it out in Scotland, early nineties???? I'm sure he said it was the Moniques? Don't know what label his acetate was on. I'll ask him tomorrow. Phil.
  17. All details are here. /Allnigh...010-t64425.html Hope that helps.
  18. Just trying to imagine what would happen if all the small events around the country closed their doors, and we had just say three big allnighters that we all attended. Say Stoke for us up north, one in Scotland, and maybe one in the deep South..... Obviously they would have to be multi room affairs, because we are all less tolerant than we used to be. But looking at what's happening, with low attendances and less people actually dancing. The big social gatherings seem to be the only events that are doing well. I must admit that when I read that Mr Roberts is going to start a rare room at Stoke, I was thinking that my days of promoting could be numbered. Think about it, if done properly it could make people attend Stoke that wouldn't normally dream of going. And people are definitely going out less, and picking their nights out very carefully..... It would be disastrous for the record dealers though, there would be big ticket records for sale everywhere. What do you think?
  19. It's the fact that they can just take money out of your account at will that pisses me off. That should be against the law.
