  6. Yes lyrics are very strange.
  7. J.M. got £713 for it it's a bleedin nursery rhyme. Personally not for me.
  8. The acetate that Stuart Bennett has came from Richard Watts collection. And it originated from John Anderson. Deffo pucka and sounds fantastic. 7inch. Be interesting to hear the one that John auctions and compare them. Phil.
  9. Hi Dave, I've got this all singing all dancing new computer, and I'm experimenting with what I can do. She was deffinately drawn by a bloke wasn't she. Sounds like your Hitsville do was brilliant, well done mate. Keep promising myself a trip over the pond. Then spend all my wonga on vinyl. Best regards, Phil.

  14. DETROIT & THE INTRUDERS - THERE SHE GOES - DELLWOOD Anyone help further my education. Another I need to hear please.
  15. I did a similar thing a couple of years ago. I was really ill with some kind of flu. Anyway there was a record on ebay that I really wanted, so I dragged myself out of my sick bed to have a look at how it was going. Later that night I decided to put a bid on it . So worked out my maximum bid [think about £500] and then changed it to dollars, about $850 and stuck it on the sniper. Imagine my delight next day when I switch on and see my email CONGRATULATIONS YOU WIN etc. Bargain thinks I. Seller was from Leicester and the currency POUNDS Record cost me £850
  16. Hey Joan, Stuart got an original acetate of down in the dumps off Dickie a while back, played it at Burnley a couple of months ago. Sounded brilliant.

Don't do it mate. You could end up like me. I started with the same ideals but somewhere along the line. It all went mental. Stick to CD's it's far safer..... Don't say I didn't warn you. Welcome to the asylum.

I played it at the last Burnley Allnighter. Didn't realise it was so well known.
  19. Sorry Warren, but we are keeping your post at the top of the listings. Phil. ps. was that you [boogaloo] that out bid me on the JOE MATHEWS-COOL KAT red issue a while back on ebay?
  20. Joan, I have to work Mon. Tue. Wed. nights next week. Are you back at Uni now? What about Thurs. tea time or evening?
  21. Yep! totally agree with you there. I sold my "If you love me show me" to a friend of mine for £600 a couple of years ago. Some one on here said they "had copies" on the gold label issue, so I panicked and got rid. [ I had just bought an Oxford Nights for big bucks just prior to that guy flogging them on ebay every week, ] Never seen a red & white one for sale since.

I've had a couple of those for sale on here not long ago, with no takers.
  23. And yet on the other hand Monique - Never let me go/I wouldn't believe - Maurci in not good shape, just sold on ebay for £400 To an American bidder. What's that all about?
  24. Absolutely spot on Karen, I wouldn't have been able to buy any of my records without credit cards. The big auction prices are all down to the availability of credit. Phil.
