was in Bleeker st records a few years ago In New York and with a couple of days to go had about $800 left- saw this room with tons of stuff and said Ive got this and want to buy- he said he hadnt decided what he was doing with the thousands he had in that room. Have to agree with Haydn - Not easy to pick up on 45. Massive on east coast. I played it in Barcelona in December last year at Movin on and guess what The floor was stomping? - Not It died a death and I panicked and played Eric Lomax- Seven the loser after it and floor was buzzing again. I was so annoyed PM died and thought it would be a winner- I got a better reaction to Act of faith- Lost in a breeze. Strange this Djing game!

great Stuff Ken Does anyone remeber those Cheap plastic frames you put your Lp covers into and put them on the wall. You could have all sorts of patters of how they would look on the wall. and then you could change the look just like that! by putting in different albums

I do remember seeing the aritcle! Anyhow the two venues were quite different in terms of music- experience and atmosphere. So For Music - The mecca by amile Experience - Wigan - One purple light made the place quite eery at times especially when playing Cats eyes Atmosphere- a draw except when artisst were on as the Mecca seemed to host them better than the casino.

It was £20 not £60 you let it go for! Just to make you feel worse! I got didled out of $125(When it was $2 to the pound) for a white capitol demo of Al delory -Right on. The record never arrived and the seller laughed at me in emails cos I sent the money in cash to the USA. He said he had changed his mind about it and I could go & F**K myself- It was 7 years ago!

I think it was eihter 2000 or 2001 and he was sheduled to play the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen. The gig was cancelled due to the fact that the US Authorities wouldnt let him out of the country for some reason. Really dissapointing as with so many wanted to see the legend in person.
