Emotions On Manships Auction
obviously another one Im now regrettin selling for £20 3 years ago but I never felt it was that rare as I saw copies on ebay quite regularly 3 or 5 years ago thtas where I got mine for £15. I think their is an interesting story about this record and the label owner but cannot remember for the life of me! Obviously John is auctioning for the sweet side as he states but the question is -"What merits anJM auction item- Answer "Anything"

Paul Sindab - Do Whatcha Wanna Do And More
Yes its the very rare 4 Track French EP Pic sleeve and has Do what you wanna do on it as well as the most wanted - You dropped your candy in the sand - which is only on the b-side of some of the Hype releases even though the title is Give me your heart-(Its a mispress) The French EP is rarer. It also has the other hype release tracks on it - Im uptight & Since I met you The French EP has a pic sleeve and is on Columbia records. Do what you wanna do on Hype used to be a £100 record but you will see them for more due to the "You drop your candy in the sand" on the b-side I sold my last Hype one for £400 and one on ebay went for nearly £500 - You can check on popsike. The French Columbia EP goes for £350-£400 I think the last one on Jms auction was around £370 As I said most people bidding on ebay on Do what you wanna do will inflate the bidding price to get the "You dropped your candy in the sand" so even the ones without that B-side are now going for more money! If You Had Enough Money To Buy Any Record You Wanted At Any Price
Being a league 2 Dj I cant afford the big tunes Ive just bought the Jades- and Im thinking I aint gonna do that again in a hurry! I was more excited about a record Ive just bought of Northern nev that was £15.00 rather than the hundreds I paid for the Jades. So If I had loads of money I dont know which record would excite me that I would part with loads of cash - Maybe the Servicemen - Are you Angry- thats about it! Most of my wants that excite me are around the £100 - £200 mark - What does that tell you - I dont know - Probably That Im a skinflynt!

Royal Esquires - Ain't Gonna Run Scans & Info
as I have said - Whats the point of paying big money for a record when their are hundreds if not thoudsands out ther unless provenance can be given as regards distribution. The only measure you can have of whether a record is rare or not is looking for the original invoice for batch numbers and cross referencing with distribution and even that doesnt guarantee the rarity 100 percent.

If You Didnt Know It Was A Pop Song
Just playing "hang on sloopy" by the McMoys at my daughters request and thought -If it wasnt know as a pop song it would actually be quite danceable even on the old scene of the past or even now! What other records if were not known as pop records do you think could be played on the scene? and explain why!

Souled Out Film Hits Trouble?
Interesting French lesson Pete - just over a week ago I was sitting in the Cafe- Le Procoup which was the first cafe in Paris and where the revolutionary conspirators would make up the list of who was next to be the victim of madame guillotene. Nice place very baroque and very expensive!
