  15. Don't you have to sign, or agree certain terms after a certain amount goes through your Pay pal account? kinda remember doing something like that, so this is there to make you declare whether your a dealer say, using the account for business purposes, or doing it privately as it were. I'd think they might not, or cannot give that info out, but if customs or any tax departments come knocking, they would give that information up freely I'd assume. thats it, its there for money laundering, but obviously applies to this?? M
  16. believe Musette was a label financed by Doctors, as was Revere and most of Jesse Davis's work.... dr Michael Dean was it.. Here's another angle, I worked and represented a picture agency in Germany some years ago, basically we co produced photo productions, we did glamor type shoots for FHM and so on, through a Hollywood fixer, financed by Roba Press in Germany for world wide syndication, the law in Germany being you could plough so much into the arts tax free, so it was a no brianer really, and quite profitable for a year or so. One of the silent partners in Roba press also owned some long standing German record labels, so it was a tried and tested formula from that industry, I wouldn't call it a dodge as such, both came under the banner of the arts, so totally legit in that sense, I dont know what the laws in the states was in the sixties or now, but it seems to be something you an do in allot of countries.. Hi all, nice original acetate and selection of 45's I had for sale, happy to swap for stuff also, interested in Modern, crossover, any good impressions, bobby bland 45's I dont already have, dunno what you got? Joe King - Speak On Up / Whats wrong — Original Promo Acetate £200 This is an original promotional acetate sourced form the Prix label owner Clem Price, and is both the released sides from the Prix label 45. The label address is Harmonic Sound Production 1482 Felix Drive which is a different address to what appears on the released Prix 45. Harmonic Sound Productions was the in house production company, the song was produced by the label owner and written by the artist who was a staff musician. So it is a publishing promo as the address being different to the label address. I'm reliably told the guy this came from had all the tapes and master record plates for the Prix catalog. This is a typical 7"acetate with a metal base and shellack coating. 25. I suppose you see allot of comps made for various scenes dont you, remember ZYX records in Germany re issued all sorts of soul/funk/groove stuff for the House scene, and wider sales if they could get them.. but these are quite perplexing, only label I know thats near these would be the Rare Grooves For The Dance Floor series, dunno... I'd love to hear them though.. M
