Happy Once Again, Decent Ebay Wins At Last
Happy once again, I actually won two 45's that I did not have to over bid on Ebay last night... Zilla Mayes - I still love you/ Tou Sea Sly Slick & Wicked - Sho Nuff / People How many of you think eBay has got very tough these days, there are still bargins but the soul Beagles are out in force allot more than they used to be. as for the above both for under $50 a piece, cant be bad! Anybody know any more tracks by Zilla, surely somebody who can record a 45 as good as this must have recorded more, what other tou sea gems are there out there? Mal

The Two Fellows
This was on the Soulful Detroit site.... Some freelance work was coming through from Nate Dore's Mutt Records which was based on Michigan Avenue, about fifteen miles west of Detroit. At that time the building was also doubling as a Bail Bondsman's operation. Several tracks were put together on The Two Fellows and The Majjestees (sic). Fred remembers The Two Fellows as "Two guys from Inkster who were like brothers. Nice guys, we recorded them in a studio way up in Mt Clemens; It was either called SuperDisc/ProSound or Sound Incorporated, something like that, and I think the La Beat Production Team provided the backing tracks. The songs were 'Stop' and 'Yea yea yea yea'. M

Patti York - He's Coming In The Morning
This is a blinding track, which I agree does not turn up all that often, I eventually bought my copy, a mint issue 2 months ago for $30 Usd... I'd buy your 45's in the States, The British charge too much for Soul 45's and thats without the strength of the pound behind you... M>

Northern Soul Lyrics

The Two Fellows
Was never booted, used to be a five pound track but I've seen it for 20 quid or more on some lists... that aside its still a great 5 pound sound... if memory serves me right there should be a ridge on the label going round the circumference of the track, allot of Mutt tracks had this ridge. Hard to describe but even if yours does not, I'd pretty much say its an original. Mal>C.
