  1. theres usually an additional £8ish charge for a 7" from the post office on top of customs charge..
  2. dunno where you are based, but swanflight is the one. they make stuff to order as well. had mine for years with no bother. theyll last a lifetime of abuse. being heavy it might cost a bit to get them to you https://www.swanflight.com/
  3. the gift option is good but you absolutely have to trust the seller to use it safely. its a horrible feeling when someone grades a record as mint but when it arrives its got 40+ marks on it, youve paid 3 figures for it by gift. the seller starts acting like a cock and you cant get your money back. and this happened on here even with the feedback system in place. i feel its the sellers responsibility to take the hit not the buyers and i say that selling more than i buy of late. BEWARE of people who will only take payment a gifts. that's just wrong and an accident waiting to happen.

  8. Totally unknown 70s gospel dancer cant any find any hits on it (that dont relate to me) and the local dealer i bought it from had the same issue. REV MALONE - CHANGE ME - COPRESS VG+ FOR MOST OF TRACK BUT JUMPS ON THE LAST FEW BARS SO I'VE FADED IT OUT. DOESN'T AFFECT THE PLAY ABILITY OF THE TRACK ITSELF TOO BADLY AT ALL. £350 https://www.divshare.com/download/21366234-0cf
  9. thats what i thought Pete tho ive never done it. its one of my favourite 70s funk tunes and im fairly annoyed about it. whats your price Bob? :-)
  10. ive got a record i paid not much for thats now going for £200+ and its got a jump - the kind where it just loops the song back to the pre jump start point of the revolution rather than kicks on to another part of the song. anyway i can fix this? im fairly cack handed and delicate stuff is not a forte, so a bit of needle work might make it worse any help appreciated. tavm
  11. ive spoken to him about 2 45s around £4/500 on the list but hasnt gone anywhere due to offers being not right for me to deal. his communication with me was quick and he seems like a decent enough guy to deal with to me, we just didnt get prices right for both parties. id be happy to talk to him again at any time in the future.

  20. this ebay seller is a fantasy grader. i had an issue with this seller and bulldozed them into giving me £100 off a £250 tune AND got my customs money back by simply saying ill give you feedback as i find. ie appalling grading and serial customs form filler. sadly you may have got a sniff of my (and no doubt others') shitstream. sounds like they've toughed up a bit.
  21. if anyone thinks ebay cares about £10 fake records and are willing to do anything about it you are badly wrong. what commercial organisation is going to spend time looking at £10 transactions in their 10000s unless they have to. its not a matter of resources they have enough money to what the like when they like if they want to. simple fact is they dont. they will say this is what the resolution service is for. i know people who have bought fake Dior eye liner that at worst might blind you and they didnt give a flying feck. make up is a bigger problem for them than antiques or records as it can seriously injure people and they dont really care about that as its too tough to police. best you can ask for is that they close down a seller so best you can do is leave negative feedback if you think the seller is trying it on constantly. if you dont do anything ebay cant / wont.
  22. anyone who stumbled across that would be well chuffed in a local boozer - records, jukebox, laptop or otherwise.
