  1. Chairmen Of The Board - All I Need Is You Tonight View full article
  2. Just had a look, less than a fiver the highestnprice on discogs but that was before any sellers realised or knew of this topic.
  3. It was a tenner and less on discogs but all copies now gone, no doubt all soul source readers having read this topic buying them up.
  4. Even though it is as younsay a UK original I still consider it a reissue as it was done because of the demand on the scene, if I couldn't play the Lp then I wouldn't play it.
  5. I was probably referring to the Blue Sharks but non the less, Bobby Hutton on ABC is an original UK relesse. What credibility it has amongst Djs and collectors is a different matter.
  6. it was done to returned and deleted stock

    Great northern IMO.
  8. don't think so, been in his box ages, was talking to him at Bury and I said I was surprised it was still there

There is a difference, in the mix or arrangement. Been acouple of topics about it in the past. Anthony Smith first brought this to my attention at These Old Shoes years ago.

    Both originals mate
  13. It was turned up in the early 90s, 91 or 92. Tim Brown I tjink sold it to Rob Marriott who I think sold it to Mark Wilson in Scotland not long after. Long before CSC.
  14. Who had them made?
  15. £20 for a VG+ copy of the Velvelettes on discogs, and like Ted says p*sses all over the Blue Sharks.
  16. Both original...anyone who thinks otherwise is an arse
  17. I thought Eddie Foster was Russ/Black Abbotts?
  18. Sorry, I meant 115, the 80s issue and its Billy Kennedy if memory serves....allegedley.
  19. Thelma 114 is Emanuel Laskey and not Joe Matthews.
  20. I once posted the newspaper clippings from the time on here.... I quite like the song, so do 100s of others as it rams the floor every time.
  21. Far too many seem to care about their public persona amongst fellow venue goers and the wider public. They seem to clamour some sort of credibility and want everyone to know what they are doing, where they are going etc and seem to miss the point that this was what we strove to avoid. I personally didn't want my divvy mates knowing what I was doing on any given weekend. Now the scene is full of divvy soulies, all too happy to dumb down the scene and let all and sundry know what is happening. It is plastered all over social media, superstar soulies in their own lunchtime who in reality have done fcuk all for the svene except take from it what they can.
  22. I wouldn't go as far as divs but many certainly miss the whole point of the scene and all-nighters. The social aspect that has taken over the soul night is creeping into nighters. Far too many don't seem to care about the music, it is all far too nice and the edge and attitude you once had has all but disappeared.
  23. a real one, or the one I had is a million miles off grey....
  24. Listened earlier, excellent once again. Track listing please
