  1. I recently bought from France and it arrived within the week. I got opinions though about the dealer and would do the same again for French, Belgian and Italian dealers. Many won't even ship to these countries now, seen plenty of descriptions on ebay saying they won't ship to these or they have to be fully insured and trackable.
  2. no mate, you just type the record in and it gives you a valuation. Be good if it gave you bootleg info as well. There's always Soul Source for bootleg info as well as the guides, some great knowledge on here.

The one without strings is the one that Butch plays. Peggy Byers not as good as the other two.

Her son I think it was heard the track on youtube and got in touch with someone. It was all on here when it happened.
  6. quick search for scans.... REAL ONE, FIRST ISSUE BOOT.... SECOND ISSUE (however dodgy you may or may not think it is)...
  7. I did read once upon a time the gold one was later booted or rebooted depending on your perspective? So there's at least one re-issue(?) and one definite boot?
  8. Is that from a favourite point of view or from a balanced DJ point of view cause Dave plays in the main oldies, no moving between the various genres of the Northern Soul scene with ease as a good balanced DJ should.
  9. Wasn't either the green or thew gold first re-issue or whatever you call it booted as well making three different release? It was cheap from a few sources in the early to mid 80s from what I can ascertain with a few I know paying very little for it, £20 etc.
  10. Gary Rushbrooke probably got it from Dave bit later?
  11. It was covered as Luther Ingram, just trying to remember who by....brain not functioning!
  12. Although Tims is now online so you save a few bob there.
  13. Dunno Tony but always had me doubts about them.
  14. Like others say around a grand for green label original issue. Always considered the gold ones as boots.

Going too close this topic, we've just had over five pages of this and no wish to go over it all again. Thanks.
  16. The Cameros are rumoured to be Jackey Beavers daughters or something like.
  17. Yes but the acetates were cut for the UK release weren't they? Can I ask you stick to the topic please, it's getting like too many other topics and going off all over the place.
  18. What do you mean by a balanced set? This topic reading like a list of favourite Dj's. Most of those listed simply play a set of one thing or another, Northern, 70's or crossover.
  19. I thought he dies a couple of years ago?
  20. Sorry but no MP3's please, file sharing isn't allowed. Please use Soundcloud or other similar third party software.
  21. Here's the Motown details from "Don't Forget The Motor City" That's A Funny Way (William Stevenson-Ivy Jo Hunter) publ. 22. Wasn't this on a white label boot from the late 80's? Don't think its had a legit release on a 7 has it?
  23. Bloody hell, five pages over this? Almost all who care about format know what you get with most DJ's and venues these. Those that dont couldnt care less if vinyl, cd or mp3.
  24. No I said we'd only had one person thrown out at Lifeline in 8 years, not on the scene as a whole. I've seen quite a few incidents but then I've been seeing them since I started on the scene, trouble has always been around the scene. I do agree one incident is one too many and it's is up to the promoters to be more vigilant when in many cases once they have taken your money they couldn't care.
